Title: You play it the same? Post by: cambridgealex on March 27, 2011, 06:06:51 AM Avg is 19k, we have 45k, villain 44k. Near the money. Standard cooler? Villain is unknown. Assume he is a fish cos he 3xs it then bets pot on the flop.

Title: Re: You play it the same? Post by: George2Loose on March 27, 2011, 11:15:36 AM fold flop
Title: Re: You play it the same? Post by: MC on March 27, 2011, 11:38:23 AM fold flop I dunno man, he could have KT, AJ, AQ, Axdd. Admittedly these hands (except KT) have decent equity, but we have so many chips in the pot once we've check raised Title: Re: You play it the same? Post by: George2Loose on March 27, 2011, 12:00:26 PM Sorry James.
Was a level. Sometimes in poker there's these things called coolers that don't really need analyising Title: Re: You play it the same? Post by: SuuPRlim on March 27, 2011, 12:52:38 PM Im really not sure I like c/r the flop
but after he has pot bet I like it a lot more mind Title: Re: You play it the same? Post by: skolsuper on March 27, 2011, 04:48:30 PM Sorry James. Was a level. Sometimes in poker there's these things called coolers that don't really need analyising This isn't one of those spots though George. Don't think we should be getting stacks in on this flop vs anyone, c/c flop Title: Re: You play it the same? Post by: outragous76 on March 27, 2011, 05:06:01 PM v similar to my dtd busto yesterday - except I had AK and on a AKT board and the guy took about 45 seconds to call with QJ as he was "concerned I had a flush draw"
the turn brought me back door flush outs - but there was no justice Title: Re: You play it the same? Post by: MC on March 27, 2011, 06:50:36 PM fold flop I dunno man, he could have KT, AJ, AQ, Axdd. Admittedly these hands (except KT) have decent equity, but we have so many chips in the pot once we've check raised Did think that was possible :) I almost wrote '50p' but then rethought cos it's not quite so cut and dry Title: Re: You play it the same? Post by: GreekStein on March 27, 2011, 07:02:27 PM Not sure it doesn't go in on the turn but I defo flat flop

Post by: Turophile on March 29, 2011, 02:13:20 AM Prefer 3 betting pre to ~7k
Title: Re: You play it the same? Post by: scotty77 on March 29, 2011, 04:09:06 AM Think i prefer a 3bet pre tbh
Don't like shipping it in flop. c/c flop and look to get it in on safe turns. all the hands that we currently beat that we get action from have decent equity so look to get it in on blank turns when villains equity plummets. |
