Title: Re: NL200 RUSH Overbetting the river? Post by: redarmi on April 01, 2011, 01:05:19 AM I don't really like it either. Doesn't say $60 get the same job done?? People find it ridiculously hard to fold full houses and the sizing looks like suspicious to me and it does look very much like a nuts or air move but given the previous action it has to be weighted massively towards air.

I think they just dont fold full houses when I bet $60, like I think his range is massively towards 55-1010 with a fewwwwww k's but very few and almost 0 aces. Title: Re: NL200 RUSH Overbetting the river? Post by: redarmi on April 01, 2011, 11:46:02 PM Yeah I think they probably fold out the full houses with pocket pairs 55-TT as you say with this bet but not sure they are calling $60 with those hands either....certainly not the lower level of that range and tbh I think those pairs have a stab at the pot a bit earlier (OTF???)

Post by: AlexMartin on April 02, 2011, 10:50:11 AM id like it more if it wasnt sb/bb, problem is he should have a lot of Ax floats in his range if hes decent. dont think sizing is optimal, i mean i like overbetting when you are betting a super-polarised range ofc, but i just think here you get too many correct hero's. that said, its rush and people arent thinking too much, so it might be the perfect way to exploit, who knows.

If river was 8/9 type of cards I was c/f but didnt think he had too many double ace high floats. |
