Title: What could it be?
Post by: TightEnd on March 30, 2011, 11:41:02 PM
Press release

Dear Media partner,

Chilipoker.com is very excited and proud to announce that Chilipoker.com will soon reveal its new major breakthrough and development in the online poker industry.  Next Tuesday afternoon (5th April) this innovative feature will finally be presented to the entire poker community with the hope that everyone will adopt this new standard of playing.  These features will be exclusive to Chilipoker.com, a leading member of the iPoker network.

Demos and beta tests have already been carried out by players and influential poker bloggers:

"For all of the billions of dollars online poker companies have made in the last decade this has to be one of the biggest innovations in online poker that I've seen other than Rush Poker. " B.

"A great execution of a good idea that proves that even in the restricted environment of a shared software network, there’s plenty of room for immersive innovation. I've seen the idea in play before, but not to this extent. And not this well balanced." K.

lease keep tuned if you wish to be involved in next Tuesday’s big announcement!

In the meantime, Chilipoker.com is also very happy to inform you that this weekend Chilipoker will run its DeepStack Open in Costa Brava where almost 500 players will compete including Hendon Mob database sensation Jason Herbert who has helped put Scunthorpe at the heart of the European map.

Jason said

"They'll all be idiots, except me, I am a shoo-in to win. Check out my stats"

Is the new innovation an ipoker site that doesn't pop up every hour saying 'cannot connect to the server'?

Wait a minute. Hit 300 posts. Had a post re moved. Been levelled. Levelled someone. And now been foamed or slashed. Let me on the stacking thread coz I am sure fire ready to be grimmed. Yes that's right alex. Can't make 3 final tables in 3 Dtd deepstacks in 3 consecutive months coz I have to attend this. I poker know how to treat superstars (the lounge with massage facility and all the sweets an d pop you wanted was top stuff at the Irish open) and these French kids at chili can party. Might mean having to fight liz lieu off with a shitty stick again but hey ho someone may as well do it. Gl in the deepstack.

Plus I can't take all the credit for putting Scunthorpe on the map. Loschief on stars is in the top 50 in the world I'm told and know his dad quite well and chubb 10 crushes all h/u online at any stakes. Chris and Luke both don't do too bad live either. We all back other players too so can spot potential. Luke backs Kim holmberg who is the best day 1 player I know. Pity is most comps are 3 days plus.

I actually know what it is, weeeeeeeeeee, not telling because I am trying to get a sneak peak at it first.

Its actually a really good idea, but I think it might dissapoint people when they first hear it because it might not sound as good as the hype suggests, but rest assured I think every major room will nick the idea after.

Connecting it to social media seems like it would open up a new vector for hacking to me - or at least make it easier to find people to target for social engineering.

"If you agree to stake me to place football bets on betfair, 10% of the value of bets I make will be automatically deducted from your account"

Could be a winner for someone.

Chilipoker.com is becoming the first online poker room to ‘Connect Players’!

-         Interact with other players and “Side bet and Swap” online with the new innovation “Chiliconnect”!

After 4 years of operating in the landscape of the poker industry, Chilipoker member of the leading iPoker Network, has launched today a ground breaking innovation on its international poker offer. Thanks to its in-house technology platform, Chilipoker.com released the first ever integrated toolbar with the poker client to enhance the player experience.

“Chilipoker always have been closed of its players thru a very strong customer care team and more lately thru our successful live event tour in Europe, the DeepStackOpen.com (7 legs). Listening to them, we understood that online poker players wanted to enjoy same experience that in land-based events.

e decided to add the social experience online and a challenging system. More than ever, our baseline ‘Spice up your game’ is true ”announced the founder of the company, Alexandre Dreyfus

The exclusive toolbar, named Chiliconnect, is based on 4 main widgets : “Share, Connect, Challenge & Swap”. Players can from now on interact with others players in a manner which never have been done before, and more important they can challenge themselves for real money. Like poker, they play against themselves and not against the house.

The influent poker blogger Bill Rini said about this launch : “For all of the billions of dollars online poker companies have made in the last decade this has to be one of the biggest innovations in online poker that I’ve seen.” Alexandre Dreyfus added “We are not the biggest poker company but we want to be  the most innovative in the next months and  become the favourite alternative online room for every poker players”.

After this first release, Chilipoker intend to bring new innovations in the following weeks to push its differentiation beyond others poker rooms. More social tools for players and their friends, more challenges, more ways to enjoy the poker game.
