Press Release

Tony "tikay" Kendall. Diary Serialisation and book deal

London, April 2011

Tony "tikay" Kendall is pleased to announce two media deals this morning that will see his profile within the UK soar

Firstly, his famous "Vegas and the aftermath" diary on www.blondepoker.com will be serialised over four consecutive Sundays in August by The Observer. The diary, an institution in British Poker with approaching 500,000 views over five years, chronicles Mr Kendall's life in poker and life in general.

Secondly, in association with Hodder and Stoughton Ltd, Mr Kendall will write his autobigraphy as part of a two book deal with the publisher. The autobiography will cover all aspects of a varied life from

- Childhood in Middlesex
- A career with John Kirkland
- The Snooker years
- The Sports Betting years
- Years in a Golf Bunker
- Discovering Poker
- Life as a poker expert

The book will be ghost written by acclaimed Poker author and agent to the stars, Catman Catman and is due for release before Christmas 2011

Mr Kendall said

"I would like to thank Vicky Coren for putting me in touch with her newspaper and her publisher. I hope that a wider audience will now get to appreciate my unique take on British life and poker within that. Work is well under way on both projects, and it excites me enormously"
