Title: wsope coverage
Post by: action man on April 03, 2011, 04:00:56 AM
anyone see when ronald lee got knocked out in third, dont think ive ever seen a less graceful show than bord and the italian put on. I mean Bord's worth an absolute fortune and instead of shaking hands with lee first goes, straight into the his fans and then starts groping the italian while ronald just waits there to shake there hands. Granted its a big money gap but show some fkin class please

Yeah agree, very classless. Is it really that hard to have some courtesy when you've banked yourself a big payday

Agree, having a rail like that doesn't exactly help you either  >:(

I agree he should be more classy. But as Woodsey says, having a big rail really makes it hard not to get carried a way. I'd still expect for someone as wealthy as james him to show a bit more class toward the Lee kid.

I wouldnt be so harsh on James - it clearly meant alot to him (regardless of money or whatever).

Admittedly the bit with the italian was a little off - but i guess you dont know how you will react till you are in a pressure spot

Kind of think the Italian's celebration is worse, as it's always classless to celebrate another player's exit in a hand you're not in.

I think it lacked a lot of class. If I knocked someone out in a big final I would shake their hands first before fist pumping and cartwheeling to my fan(s)

That poor kid looked like he had just learned there was no Santa too, that's what makes it all the worse, he looks like he desperately needed one of those big fellas to give him a big hug. I certainly don't think it's the worst thing in the world to celebrate with your rail first when you win the hand, I can see how the moment could get you carried away like that, but celebrating with the Italian first is really bad.
