Love was fantastic. Best CdS I've seen by miles. Absolutely amazing stuff, a grl on a trapeze to Lucy in the Sky was breathtaking.

Blue Man Group, I enjoyed it, but my missus absolutely hated it. Funny moments, but given the choice, would pick Love every single time.

We will be there for a week, so plan to do probably 3 shows/concerts. If anyone else has suggestions please let me know, bear in mind the target audience is my oldies not me  :)

Blue Man Group was the worst thing I have seen in my life.

The only solace was that Jones lost the flip for tickets and Nicky lost the flip for beers so I didn't have to shell anything out for the boring ordeal.

Trigg went along to the Tournament of Kings show/banquet and had a great time.

Isn't that a kids show no?

Le Réve at the Wynn is pretty special, dunno if 2 CdS would be too much in a week

As suggested Jersey Boys is very good.

If lounge style, old school Vegas feel would be appreciated, then Matt Goss at Ceasers.
He was surprisingly very good, 80% Vegas lounge standards, he walks the tables, chats up the ladies and is generally very entertaining.

Love is great, liked it a lot more than I thought I would.  O still one of the best also.  Dinner at Prime, desert on their patio with a fountain show, tickets for O.

Looking forward to Love, seen 3 other vegas cirque shows and really enjoyed them too  :)

Fook me the tickets are a bit expensive though  >:(   Thank god I'm not paying   :D

+1 on O. Went for a friends wedding, we all went to O including bride's+groom's parents. All loved it. Spectacular.

Anyone been to that piano bar in NYNY early doors i.e. 8pm when the music starts? Is is sensible then for an older crew?

I've only been later on when pissed up when it gets a bits rowdy and I know my folks would hate it like that. If it sensible early doors without the rowdyness I'd like to take them.

If they like comedy, vinny favorito is a bit like Frankie Boyle lite and doesn't cost too much.

I dunno about US comedy tbh, I find it very hit and miss due to the different sense of humour over there. I've seen a couple of shows there and I thought they were just meh, the locals were pissing themselves though.

There are quite a few "duelling piano" shows around town, so you could go somewhere less rowdy than NYNY.  There is a champagne/cognac/cigar bar in Paris called Napoleons (in the cobbled street bit) that I went to last time without realising they had pianos.  I am not sure if they are a permanent feature, but it was pretty sedate in there, even at closing time, most songs were 50s-70s.

Might be stating the obv or missing something but 'Legends in Concert' is a good one. Its at Harrahs which is the major downside. But for the older generation it is a must. All sorts of different impersonators. Elvis, Manilow, Striesand, Midler. Dusty Springfield, Johnny Cash etc.

+1 to all the Cirque do soleil and Jersey Boy shouts.

Terry Fador is supposed to be great for all the family, But i have never got around to seeing him.
