Just noticed on front page I said it was for 9 tourneys but it's in fact 10. ;0)

Got knocked out of 1st tourney the 1k at Venetian 74th out of 274, 27 paid.
More than doubled 1st hour then pretty much ground the same stack for 10 hours.
ended up running 99 in the big bling into 1010 on the cutoff for 1/2 my stack, then reshoved kjs with 19 bigs from cutoff against loose hijack raiser into sb's AQs
Pleased with the way I played overall, very patient for me but may of missed a few 4 bet spots, will work on it for the next tournament.

How would you rate the standard of the 1k Paul, compared to something over here?

Standard was good from what I saw, starting table had one rock and two exploitable players but even they weren't too bad, the rest were very good young internet kids, only played $300 and $500's at the Venetian in the past and the standard was loads better than that

Going to make 1 tweak to my tournie schedule instead of playing the $1590 at the Venetian tomorrow going to move it to my last week and play the $1590 on either Monday 20th or Friday 24th.
Reason being wifes last day today and want to cram in as much as I can and then have to get up at 6 to take her to the airport.
Therefore will be tired tomorrow and not 100%, so instead will play a couple of $200's over then next couple of days as practice prob at Caesars and Binions of my own $, looking back felt I missed a few spots where I should of 4 bet pre or missed a squeeze yesterday, so there's a few things I want to work on and tweak.
Also if last years 4 weeks in Vegas was anything to go by, I was on fire the last week and playing my best poker, finalled two Caesars 4pm's , and as i have nothing scheduled of the stake in the last week will move it to then.

Hope no'one objects but want to ensure i'm 100% before each tournament.

I'd rather you just didn't play if you aren't 100% on the day. So no probs what so ever just keep us posted. :)up

66th out of 283 in Caesars $200 today, structures a lot faster than I remember 2000/4000 400 ante after just 6 hours, peaked at 90k and got it in good blind v blind for a 150k pot

No joy in the 1k ak on ace high flop no good a10 on 10 high flop likewise, couple of flush chasers got there and then lost a 66 v aq race,button v blind.
Not a lot of room to play once you lose a few pots.
Lets hope $1500 on Tuesday goes a bit better.

Gents will update my tournaments in a bit as I've decided to support Trigg this afternoon instead of the Venetian, since meeting him and sharing a room with him at the Cardiff Blonde bash he's become a good poker friend and I really want to see him do well at a WSOP final table. Still got 7 to play of the 10 and three weeks left so plenty of time to get a nice result.

Right only changes to schedule are i'm playing the two $1590's at the Venetian that i've missed on Monday 13th and Friday 24th June.

We were getting there, if only Trigg lasted a bit longer after the dinner break.
Gutted he didn't win that big flip for the chiplead...

Managed to get to 50k from 20k within first two hours of todays $1590, then lost a couple of pots, went into my shell a bit and then totally messed up one hand to exit where I was trying to represent a set on a very dry board, knew exactly what opponent had and he eventually tank called with top 2.
Supposed to be playing the $1000 tomorrow at the Venetian but at the moment feel burnt out and a bit low, so I might not play for a couple of days.
Will try to reschedule the missed game if unable to will send you all a rebate.
Managed to start off well in all the tournaments ive played and then come unstuck in the mid stages, will regroup over the next few days and hopefully finish strong for the trip.

Don'y worry about missing a few Tourneys, or re-scheduling, just do what you want, afaic. If you need a break, take one, don't feel constrined by your staking schedule, at least, that is my personal view. I think most of the stakees would agree.

Yeah, for me you should feel free to reschedule, refocus, refuel, regroup and re-whatever and then you'll do better in the tournaments you play.  We'd rather you did a win than stick exactly to the schedule.

Looks like I'd picked up a bug, shivering and dizzy spells last couple days, felt really rough hopefully over it now. Shaun (Claypole) has also felt bad.
These tourneys are a big deal to me so wont play If not feeling 100%, enough dead money already won't be adding my own.
Off to the Rio in a bit to register for tomorrow's $1500 and rail the four Brits left in the 6 max, first railing Claypole in yesterday's $300 at the Venetian, 37 left good chance of finaling.
Will be working hard the next week determined not to leave without a decent cash.

WSOP 32 $1500 today, pretty much ground the starting stack for 6 hours and then with 20 bigs lost with Jacks v AKo just before the dinner break.

6 days left in Vegas.  Tweaked the schedule and now playing these the last few days:
Tuesday 21st: Venetian $560
Wednesday 22nd WSOP $1500
Thursday 23rd Venetian $1080
Friday 24th Venetian $1600
Saturday 25th Venetian $560

Will leave around $1300 to rebate when I get back, will do the exact Maths later, and hopefully have some returns from the above to report upon..

Made Day 2 of the $1500 WSOP 38, 320 out of the 2198 left 216 paid.
Average stack is 30k, lost a 62k pot just before end when i 5 bet JJ all in only to get snap called by AKoff but have double average still with 68k.
Going back to 500/1k 200 tomorrow, wish me luck.

Having had to stop Paul removing his neckbrace and replace his oxygen nasal nozzle things about 30 times and then accidentally walking in on a stab wound being treated rather than Pauls bay I am deffo not going to go into the nursing profession.

As agreed with those in Vegas London EPT/UKIPT final is £5250.
Currently 3rd in the UKIPT leaderboard so will be working hard to improve on that.

Made a mistake of taking the majority of my win as a Cheque.
Banked it with Lloyds TSB last week but they claim their collections unit have to send it back off to the US to be authorized before it clears and that process could be a minimum of two weeks.
Tried opening a Premium International account in $ but they wouldn't let me as the cheque is from gambling in their eyes.
Haven't the money to pay those i haven't paid yet so unfortunately you'll have to wait like me until the cheque clears.
In the meantime those who haven't already done so if you can pm me your bank details so I'm ready to send straight out once it's cleared.

Chased TSB again on Wednesday all they could say was the cheque was still awaiting clearance from their collections unit in the US.
Going to be a real pain and chase it daily next week.
Feel really bad at those who haven't been paid,  snap paid everyone out in Vegas and really didn't expect any problems when I got back.

Cheque arrived this morning had a loveley £47500 in my account for all of five minutes, have managed to get rid of £45500 of that and another £1500 will be gone tomorrow as I couldn't send Chipprince and toddswains 1% due to making too many faster payments in one day.
Mpower can you confirm you have received your payment, I sent Dan(Kinboshi) his money after you and he has received his.
Haven't got a lot to show for my result, but at least I've paid my mortgage to April next year have paid off 2/3rds of my credit cards/loans and have bought new doors and windows for the house.

Not going to make the London EPT on Friday, had so many unexpected expenses over the last month or so and my current poker bankroll is less than the buyin for the EPT. Came so close to satelliting in in a couple of £20 rebuys last week as well.
Was thinking about borrowing £5k but can't justify it for a game of poker, so looks like I won't be getting any higher 4th on the UKIPT leader board.
Need to make a decision about whether to get my head down and grind out the low stakes or look for a backer, either way I need to get my head down and play a lot more online poker.
Now i'm not going I still owe some money for the games I didn't play in Vegas, think it's about £35 per 1% will work at getting this back to everyone pre Christmas or if I qualify for a live event in the meantime will offer a percentage in that.
Tore my ligament in my foot yesterday and can't walk at the moment so probably a good job i'm not going.

Seriously disappointed at not going but have to be sensible, will be in touch when in position to pay back the extra pounds. Thanks for understanding.
