Title: skypoker.com introduce "Sky Roller" Post by: tikay on April 16, 2011, 11:38:56 AM Starting at 8pm on Thursday, & every Thursday thereafter (except the last Thursday of the month, when the £220 Skysports DS will still run) there will be a new weekly £110 Tourney called "Sky Roller". 5,000 starting chips, & 15 minute blinds, the Tourney has a £5,000 Guarantee. A new structure has been devised, much more balanced than the old £220 structure, which some said was a bit fast. It neds 50 to hit the Guarantee, but I am pretty sure that it will attract a good deal more. If not, I'll be in a bit of trouble, as I stuck my neck out, & forecast 60+. We shall see. I do not believe that "FlashFlush" is Flushy, he's a High-Roller not a Sky-Roller. scotty77 5000 pod1 5000 YOUNG_GUN 5000 Wacko90 5000 FlashFlush 5000 Title: Re: skypoker.com introduce "Sky Roller" Post by: TightEnd on April 16, 2011, 11:49:44 AM Looks like a very nice idea. Hope it hits your 60. Sure many of the blondes will want a crack at this, especially via satellite Title: Re: skypoker.com introduce "Sky Roller" Post by: AndrewT on April 16, 2011, 12:28:33 PM Good stuff - there was always a gap between the £220 and everything else that needed filling.

1 they don't accept Ukash as a payment method. A little strange that, but I need to investigate why further 2 yes you may exclude from certain platforms and still play on another platform, by simply going into your my account then under the tab gambling safely. there you will see an option called stop betting. So for example you can self exclude from Sky Vegas but not Sky Poker. Be careful though, once you have self excluded its irreversible, there are no circumstances in which they'll change it back, so please take your time to make sure you self-exclude from the right area 3. What name did you sign up with please? Title: Re: skypoker.com introduce "Sky Roller" Post by: bobAlike on April 21, 2011, 09:58:05 AM Please ignore that last post. :)

Highlights included having 44 on 875r 6 3, I pfr cback, call min bet on turn, and get check called losing to 79........... You looked home & hosed when you had a 2-1 chip lead Heads Up, but young Nutter can mix it with the best, & he's quite cute heads up. And maybe lucky, too...... Serious question now. The structures of almost all the Tourneys have been changed, & that structure last night was one of the "new improved ones", in fact you contributed massively to the "structures debate" we had next door recently. The "old" structure had left very little room to play in the mid to late stages. Was last night better, & what else could be done to tweak or fettle it in your considered opinion? Title: Re: skypoker.com introduce "Sky Roller" Post by: AndyG on April 22, 2011, 12:18:48 PM The structure was great, infact I dont think it could be any better... Ive never played the site before hopefully more comps like that will see it grow. Do the bigger cash games ever get going ?

I kind of lost interest after about 9.30... Title: Re: skypoker.com introduce "Sky Roller" Post by: titaniumbean on April 22, 2011, 04:11:23 PM BACK TO THE OLD BLINDS IMO. The structures were excellent and the blinds too long for the structure imo. The knock on effect of removing the 3 points in the tournament where your stack halved means that you're never suddenly short so you have more play but because there is no antes and many people play so incorrectly tight it lasted quite a while. The heads up finished about 1:30-1:45 I seem to remember, we both had 50 bets going into it.
