Well whilst we are on the subject... I transfered to Betfair from Littlewoods. After I had asked Littlewoods for a Rake, they said NO. they don't do Rake.. now I know they were telling porkies...I was quite dissapointed with this especially after I was their first and only person to make it to the CPC St Maartens 2004. and also aiding them into an arrangement for a final table player to wear their Logo.
.Also ...during my learning period they did very well out of me. So I moved on to contact Betfair, Who , agreed a Rakeback. As yet..I have seen no rake returned to my account...Do I need to reuest this ??.. anyone??

do you play cash games? afaik betfair don't give rakeback for tourney fees (this was why I had to stop playing there even though I think they're a great company). having said that there was some talk on the betfair forum about some people getting it. I spose if you play a lot of high stakes sng's they might sort you out.

Byron Betfair have been paying rakeback on tourney fees since March 05. It's only possible to get rakeback by opening a new account though.

Blonde don't do rakeback, PM Ariston or Ruru, portfolio erm can't remember who else

The mere mention of Rakeback and it seems you are entering the world of demonic Masons... so how would a mere mortal go about getting rakeback for Tournies and cash games for a Company like Betfair?

the rakeback i use covers all cash game fees and tourney fees,

as with any new rakeback account you will need to open a new account under a special link

At the moment the website isn't as comprehensive or as easy to navigate as it should be. You will see that the Home page generally features a few promotions and links at a time, it is not possible under the current design to show them all

 as you know we are working on improving this with a re-design with one of the aims being that the navigation is improved for better access to information and potentially affilaite links

We have affiliate links to many many poker rooms, all you or anyone has to do is ask a mod and you will receive the one you are after

In due course I hope this becomes an easier process.

If you already have a Betfair account can you (easily) set up a new account and get rakeback? And does trny rakeback include STTs?

I think you need to call them and close your existing account first if you mean to use the same deposit method, not entirely certain though. Julian did tell me how to do it once but i didn't because i don't play for decent amounts online.

You can have multiple Betfair accounts ... you just can't deposit using a card registered to a different account.

yep Tom's right...you can have multiple accounts on betfair but you cant use the same payment method on two accounts,

in order for rakeback you would need to open a new account i believe...probably better to PM Ruru. Also all betfair rakeback includes tourneys fees aswell as cash games.

This has caused us some head-scratching. blonde are currently looking at the best way, for blonde & it's Members as a whole, to handle rakeback issues.

In the interim, I don't think it's good to allow Members to start putting up Posts advertising x% rakeback, because they will inevitably be followed by others offering x%+, & it will become an Affiliate Spammers Heaven. That's a slippery slope, down which we don't want this Forum to go. So, please refrain from Posting personal Affiliate deals. Thanks.

I never said you were spamming. I suggested that it may LEAD to spamming. I just think it's the wrong way for blonde to go, potentially. It's cool now. Unlike the Bahamas, you lucky so & so.

Sure i understand your concerns,

i can certainly see what your talking about and like i said, im more than happy for any credits to go to blonde as id love to see this site continue to grow.
