Title: Butchered? Should I really be folding AA Post by: MTT DESTROYER on April 23, 2011, 12:32:58 PM Without any information, folding is wrong isn't it? So what do i do on the flop?

Should I really be folding AA Post by: redarmi on April 23, 2011, 12:46:26 PM Yes I would bet slightly larger preflop too. Flop is a tough spot and flatting on that flop is correct but as played i fold too.
Title: Re: Butchered? Should I really be folding AA Post by: MANTIS01 on April 23, 2011, 01:00:49 PM Agree flat flop, but as played I call. I think Q-10 flats on a non flush board. So you are sometimes vs a set but often enough vs 10's or a pair with 10 combo or even A-J. I would prefer to take those hands on in a 30k+ pot having put half my stack in rather than fold and be left with less than 7k.

Title: Re: Butchered? Should I really be folding AA Post by: MTT DESTROYER on April 23, 2011, 02:59:01 PM Why are we flatting though? My plan was to raise the original bettor on the flop and snap if he shoves, the guy last to act can only do what he did with vvv strong hand, so most of the time he folds.
Surely i'm ahead of the donk bettors range? Doesn't a flat let people see a turn card, many of which are bad for us? Title: Re: Butchered? Should I really be folding AA Post by: outragous76 on April 23, 2011, 09:23:05 PM i believe that this is my area of expertise
this is just about the worst board you could see holding AA vs 3 villains. I mean if you watch outragouspoker live video series on 53774763673th level thinking you could probs fold to the donk tbh, but in reality its a call/fold as played i think i cry fold and leave myself with 30bbs - but there are some (fairly poor) arguements for calling |
