Its pretty tough to pokerstove because of all the side pots. I've left out the guy calling all in for <1bb from the calculations too because stove assumes that everyone is playing for the the same pot The main pot accounts for about 43k of it and is just heads up with 45s vs Mark McCluskys jamming range which I've put conservatively as 77+, A9s+, QTs+, AJo, KQo Overall against fairly strong ranges (which they both should have, he can't really expect the guy calling all in for 10k to clown it off with 56s) the 4s 5s is ~24% which needs to be weighted somewhat towards the 33% number because most of the pot is heads up. That'll tip it over the magic 25% mark to make it a +chipEV call ICM hates calls like this so that'll take it down a bit but overall I don't think its ever going to be worse than breakeven Sorry to shake your faith Alex but its 1-0 to Tighty. Early doors though. Title: Re: GUKPT Walsall Day 2 Post by: TightEnd on April 30, 2011, 04:24:34 PM Sorry to shake your faith Alex but its 1-0 to Tighty. Early doors though. Epic. Title: Re: GUKPT Walsall Day 2 Post by: Doobs on April 30, 2011, 09:01:03 PM It worked out being 18k to calling 54k so 45s is getting 3 to 1 so needs 25% equity Hmm I thought it was correct at the time, but changed my mind on the way home. I was the 97 off fella and briefly said so on the way out btw :hello:Its pretty tough to pokerstove because of all the side pots. Title: Re: GUKPT Walsall Day 2 Post by: DMorgan on April 30, 2011, 09:04:20 PM could you try get the hands and boards right? No pint I'm afraid, but a hot chocolate with tia maria and having a good laugh swaping anecdotes at 5.30am watching the sun come up on the hotel patio (which was freezing and twice as windy as Southfork ranch for those of you that can vaguely remember Dallas) after getting back from the Casino was hilarious. Title: Re: GUKPT Walsall Day 2 Post by: XrayEye/RiverAsUsual on May 05, 2011, 03:01:39 AM Folds to John Miller who completes from the SB, BB Gregory Hunt checks Flop Qc 2h 4h Miller checks, Hunt bets 6k and gets raised to 15k. He dwells for a bit and calls giving Miller that 'dubious' look Turn 9d Check check River 2d Miller bets 6k into 36k on the river, Hunt calls Miller 9c 4s Hunt Qs Ts (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/__H1AtrOU8ww/R6E0yX0XhVI/AAAAAAAABvg/A1JP2QGPirs/s400/VALUEVILLAGE.jpg) I once rivered Greg Hunt after shoving 8bb with K4 and him calling with QQ. Despite having quite a big stack at the time he moaned about it for a good half an hour after. Can only imagine his reaction to this one. Think he'd be ok seeing as he won the hand Oops....oh yeah That was a reporting error, river was a blank and 94 won No, this was not a reporting error, it is accurate. Also, my intention was to check/reraise all-in on the turn, which Greg said he would have folded and the 6k river bet was just a stopper-bet in case he had the Q and would have value bet bigger or for extra value on a weaker calling hand eg A9. |
