I am taking the ten questions below to the pub as often as i can for next week and get as many randoms to write down answers to questions

I will then record for each question, how many said which answer

You send me PM answers to the questions in the normal way.

Scoring on the night relates your answer with theirs

For example. If to the question "Name a Queen" 19 of the randoms say Queen Elizabeth II and you do too, you get 19 points.

Your aim is to get pointless answers

PM me your answers by 7pm on Tuesday 10th of May.

Please put you muppet in the subject header and give the corresponding number for each question with each answer.

The reveal will take place at 8pm on Wednesay 11/05/2011 on this thread.

Scoring then relates to the sample of responders and not your fellow contestants. Your minimum score for each question is Zero, your maximum 10000 (depends on how many randoms i can get to take the quiz)

If you give an incorrect answer, you will receive the highest sample responders score X2

No googling needed. Objections will be welcomed

2) name a manufactor of a car you can buy new in teh UK for under £10k
3) name a channel you can get in HD on the SKY box in scotland
4) name a former/current F1 champion
5) name a former/current PM of the UK
6) a film in the channel 4 list of 100 greatest films of all time
7) a character from ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES
8) an airline that has scheduled flights in and out of aberdeen or inverness airport
9) a SPORT that will hold events in the london 2012 olympic games
10) a month of the year with over 29 days in it

can't leave it openended

1,3 and 8 are too scottish. British questions only please, you are not independent

the max i will ask is 200 but will likely only get 100

1) everyone knows atleast 2 teams and most people can name 6 or 7
3) its the same as the rest of UK execpt ITVhd we cant get it or STVhd in scotland as the people i am asking are in scotland anyone knowing this fact would get a pointless answer if i didnt put scotland in there
8) even never been to aberdeen or inverness would be able to name 4+ by just guessing there is nothing tricky about the question but i just made boundries

So the maximum score per question could be above 100?


genuine advice, far far too many to mark...save yourself some time and ask a maximum of 20

once i work out how to set up a DB lol

yes simple questions and not many contestants but I can feel the farce already, may the farce be with you happy rsq day

Sorry but those questions do not appeal to me at all so I will not be entering.

The pointless thing was cool for one quiz. It did ultimately feel though, well, pointless. It turned it into more of a straight up quiz. All the levelling elements of an RSQ were lost. It was fun as a one off but I don't see that it's better than a standard quiz.

And apart from anything else I'm not sure I trust Ironside to actually collect all these answers properly :)

You can DQ me if you want, but if you're referring to the subject line, a lack of speech-marks made your rule a nonsense really.
