RIP.

My Grandad used to tell a great story of how he met Seve in a bar in Santander in the early 90s and asked him for his autograph. Rather than just give him his autograph Seve bought one of the most expensive bottles of wine in Spain and sat down and chatted to my Grandad whilst sharing the wine for like half an hour.

Great guy.

Hopefully they are having a game of golf in heaven together.

Like many, I started playing golf wishing I could be like him.

He was the truly dominant character of world golf in his heyday and a fabulous entertainer.

RIP Seve.

Very sad news, Seve was my absolute favourite golfer to watch in his pomp.

R.I.P.

R.I.P Seve, always remember being enthralled by his shots from the trees and such. He'd cover every inch of the course in his pomp by spraying the ball here there and everywhere, yet still win all the time. Legend, very sad day for golf.

I had the pleasure of playing with him in a Corporate do run by Slazenger many years ago all be it only three holes, I cant say enough about him, he made The European tour and Ryder Cup what it is today.

It is probably the saddest day of my golfing career he will be sorely missed.

RIP Seve a true sportsman and gentleman  :'(
