My Grandad used to tell a great story of how he met Seve in a bar in Santander in the early 90s and asked him for his autograph. Rather than just give him his autograph Seve bought one of the most expensive bottles of wine in Spain and sat down and chatted to my Grandad whilst sharing the wine for like half an hour. Great guy. He'd cover every inch of the course in his pomp by spraying the ball here there and everywhere, yet still win all the time. Legend, very sad day for golf.
