Hi all,
I'm pleased to announce that WorldofPoker.tv will be sponsoring the Thistle Classic in the Glasgow Berkeley (Stanley Casinos) on Saturday 25th with the final on Sunday the 26th June 2005. This exciting 250 buyin event will be limited to 200 runners who will each be allowed one rebuy OR one addon. Kicking off at 3pm players will receive 5000 starting chips and blinds will raise every 45minutes.

TIMES:
   Saturday: 3pm - 7pm buffet served. Recommences 8pm-11.30pm. Recommences 12am until 20 left or 3am.

   Sunday Final: 3pm - 7pm buffet served. Recommences 8pm-11.30pm. Recommences 12am until finish.

Players wishing to enter must be members of the Glasgow Berkeley Casino and can join online at http://www.stanleycasinos.com/default.asp?PageFlag=10&Page=0
Seats are on a first come first served basis. Payment can be made by cheque or cash and can be made in person or posted to Glasgow Berkeley, 506/516 Sauchiehall St Glasgow G2 3LW.


Final twenty paid 30% to winner.A full % breakdown link will be posted shortly. Added prizes: Final woman (if not in last 20) 500. And I have a 500 bounty on my head.

On both days of the competition there will be two FREE buffets and a self-service soft drinks station.

The opening and presentation ceremony will be performed by snooker & TV Personality the gorgeous Michaela Tabb. If you want to experience the best of Scottish hospitality make a date with us. I'm happy to answer any questions people may have.

Once again Tom RED-DOG McReady will be representing World of poker at this event and I'd like to take this opportunity to wish him the very best of Scottish luck.

hmmm, dont know about that.....but I might see my way clear to letting you have my autograph and phone number...

I thought you had to be able to do joined up writing to do an "autograph" and besides you know you are not allowed to have anything sharp in your unit, so you can only use a crayon :)

oh i forgot to add are dealers supplied and whats is the sponsors adding to the pool apart from a free pen to all the players?

I'm afraid there has been a mix-up with Stanley and the Glasgow Berkeley and I've been informed that the tournament will be run on Friday and Saturday instead of Saturday/Sunday.

We are thrashing out the new schedule with them now and I will post asap.

(I'll only do this one the now cause Kev was very pleasant when he heard I was the host at the Thistle Classic!)

I am so excited to be involved with poker I absolutely love the game! (Not too bad at it but lots of room for imporvement... :o)

I haven't played with the other snooker players before at the tourneys yet - mainly cause they stay in really nice hotels and I'm in the local travel lodge!! hehehe

Anyway, looking forward to seeing any of you who can make it to the tourney!

PS Ironside - not sure about Glasgow or Edinburgh for the lap dancing but I sure know of a classy one in Poland!!  ;)
