Title: PLO rush vrs Normal Post by: Amatay on May 18, 2011, 05:39:50 AM If you were for example playing 2 tables of plo rush for say 5 hrs how many tables ish do you think you would need to play on say ipoker to generate the same amount of hands/rake/rakeback etc in the same 5 hr period?

you get the world in rakeback mind, but the stnd of play is generally SO nitty that i think long term winrates in RUSH PLO would struggle to ever exceed 2 or 3 bb/100 AFTER rakeback. I think you get roughly 75% extra hands per table per hour in rush than a regular 6max game, so getting a good RB deal on a iPoker/entraction skin and 4-6 tabling would certainly give you a much much higher hourly in my opinion a very good friend of mine who comfortably beats 200plo on stars/ftp has been experimenting with this and in about 35k hands of 100plo RUSH his ev bb/100 is less than 1bb/100 and i think he's made about $2-2.5k in rakeback. Pete linton beat it for like 300 buy ins when he was grinding it day in day out but I just would be v wary atm of keeping much money on ftp

Think you're miles off with this. I'd say at least 3 times as many. The nature of rush is that you do more folding than you normally might. You just can't help it. When you fold you get another quick hand. Your stats at rush should remain the same as normal but they won't be. It's the folded hands that are the quick ones and in rush there are loads more of them.
