don't miss the value backing against teams fighting relegation

stoke 2/1, UTD 8/13, Spurs 4/7 - get on....

I wouldn't back Spurs @ 4/7 with stolen £££

is that a personal thing? you're burning money if you don't back them.

Just don't see the price as good, Stoke I think your right looks massive at 2/1, Utd probs too at 8/13, Spurs have won 2 from 7 at home.

Have you looked at past teams relegated at the final day?

Completely disagree with the op. Strongly fancy wigan to get something v stoke. Stoke injuries, season over, cup final let down. Wigan self belief after last weekend

teams play to win and expose themselves. Players playing who are fresh from not having played to much.

I also think wigan will struggle at stoke altho there wont be a better time to play them, not a betting event for me.

Man u with any decent type of team cld be big value and i might get involved in a few markets on the game.

Spurs at that price just seem the right price, brum are playing terribly but bar the pool result haven't played gr8 themselves for weeks.

I don't bet much but as far as I understand it's a really dangerous time to back/lay cos it's so unpredictable. Interesting to hear the thoughts of some full time sports bettors.

Yes its def a dangerous time as its unpredictable, thus waiting for team news/injuries/watching market movements etc is even more important than usual.

However remember this works both ways and the bookie has the same issues.

Just concentrating on one game and deciding if something has become value or not in this kind of case can be very lucrative if you judge it correctly.

Betfair as usual will no doubt prove the shrewdest guide, and i for one shall be watching the respective markets very closely until ko on sunday.

It's always as simple as just believing if something is a value bet or not. Early indicator might be to look at berbatov's price for first goalscorer/to score twice etc, although im sure most will have realised this already and any/most value will have gone.

Edit- Just seen there is a bit of 9/2 around on him to score first and i think that's reasonable. He's tied with tevez for top goalscorer, there's no way i see rooney or hernandez starting and altho owen will probably play, id rather bk the bulgarian out of the two.

6/1 on him to score two or more, and 25/1 for a ht look ok but dont hugely excite so ill prob just stick with the fgs option, hopefully fergie wont throw a spanner in the works and start with this joshua king who's quoted in most books. But then bar if he comes on as a sub before the first goal is scored-highly unlikely-ill get the bet refunded anyway.

Wigan were lucky to get the win.
