Something like AT+, 66+, dependant on how wide we expect to get called. You have an M of like 3? So most of your >Q7 hands i guess, take down the ~15k in the pot and a 1/3 to your stack. Take a 60:40 or 40:60 with the SB for the dead money (4200 in antes and the 7k BB), shoving wide and hope BB dodges a big hand.
What range do you think BB has to have to make a call here vs your shove and the obvious SB call? Probably 55+,A2s+,K8s+,QTs+,J9s+,T8s+,97s+,87s,76s,A6o+,KTo+,QTo+,JTo = ~25% of the time. In which case the range i've given has ~35% vs BB 39% vs SB 26% This is 35% equity of a 33507 pot = ~11730 for the main and we have ~47.5% equity vs the BB for the side pot of 67030 = ~31840 -> if the BB calls, given ranges and equities roughly 36140 -> EV of ~-7144 Assuming the BB folds we have ~60% equity with the given shoving range vs the SBs any 2. Giving us a ~22500 pot, therefore an average EV of ~13500 = ~+3700, -7144 25% of the time and +3700 75% of the time, this is approx +990 on average, including the -700 you would get for just folding here 65% of the time, its actually a -EV range. FFS i'm going to do it on a tighter shoving range... (I haven't bothered going into this much detail on these spots before, so assume i'm calculating this correct? I'm using Pokerstove for the equities btw.) In which case the range i've given has ~44.3% vs BB 32.6% vs SB 23.1% This is 44.3% equity of a 33507 pot = ~14844 for the main and we have ~58.7% equity vs the BB for the side pot of 67030 = ~39347 for the side -> if the BB calls, given ranges and equities roughly 54191 -> EV of ~+10907 Assuming the BB folds we have ~67.7% equity with the given shoving range vs the SBs any 2. Giving us a ~22500 pot, therefore an average EV of ~15233 = ~+6064, When we shove (11%), we are +10907 75% of the time and +6064 25% of the time, this is approx +9696 on average We are folding 89% of the time (-700 ante) -> have an EV of +444.
