Title: Re: .fr river decision Post by: outragous76 on June 05, 2011, 07:08:11 PM like it all plan on turn if he bet? - raise, get it in plan on river if he jams? - snap him off plan on river if we c/c and hit blur or 9? ? Title: Re: .fr river decision Post by: doubleup on June 05, 2011, 10:52:45 PM I'd rather bet riv - he could bluff raise and certainly call. Cant see what he can have that we beat that calls our checkraise. Title: Re: .fr river decision Post by: DMorgan on June 05, 2011, 11:36:33 PM Not sure why you would ever not bet the turn when you pick up so much equity vs his range - enough equity to comfortably call/3bet dependant on reads
As played I like the river check because he'll always value bet Tx here and probably slightly worse Title: Re: .fr river decision Post by: pleno1 on June 06, 2011, 12:31:12 AM Not sure why you would ever not bet the turn when you pick up so much equity vs his range - enough equity to comfortably call/3bet dependant on reads As played I like the river check because he'll always value bet Tx here and probably slightly worse It was a friends hand and he was going for a c/r on the turn to commit/call. Title: Re: .fr river decision Post by: cambridgealex on June 06, 2011, 01:26:37 AM Dan, how different is this to the spot in the walsall cashgame where I barrelled again on the board pairing turn card cos it gave me a flush draw? Kx44 iirc. U said it was dead spewy. I know he has a ton more equity in this spot with 2overs and a gutter, but chances of villain folding on this turn card are pretty small right? So without a value hand it makes it a slightly spewy barrel? Or do we have so much equity that he only needs to fold a small%?
