Title: £50 freezeout luton 2nd hand of tourney
Post by: ruholding on June 06, 2011, 04:21:44 PM
first time ive done this so bear with me

£50 f/o luton 15 k chips

2nd hand of tourney

me sb j 7

villian button

i flat call bb

flop  3s 4d 7c

i bet 150 into 150

villian raises to 600

i call

turn  7s

i check (i know hes going to bet)

he bets 1500 into 1350

i call

river  9s

i check thinking hes going to bet 3k - he actually moves all in (he a regular pisshead by the way)

he gives all the speech play saying im beat.  could he really have 5 6 ???

ur thoughts obviously the only 2 plays are call or fold (as he is allin)??

Sigh fold. It's amazing how often when people say they've got it, they really have. It'd be a closer decision with a7, but as it is your kicker's poor too so you're behind to k7s and a7s as well as the straight and possible boats.

Does the villain really raise the flop with 56 here? I pass preflop myself but prob call after pisshead description.

Was he actually pissed at the time though, if not I call, surely he is not raising with 5,6 maybee he has 2 pair or has just hit a random 3 or 4, unlucky if he out kicks you with the 7

And if he is pissed he just got lucky with his 56 BB special

not that my advice should ever be looked at I probably sigh fold, raising range in Luton doesnt put 5-6 out of the realms! Also dont know if its right but is there not a flush out there too?

Second piece of advice is walk out faster I still saw the back of your head as they shouted player down after 2 mins of a 15k tournie lol

More likely to have a house, than anything else.

Fold.

yh sigh fold..... you still have plenty of chips and not beating anything genuine..

on the other side of the coin his riverbet is ridic as there are so many holdings that crush him and as the saying goes only getting called when his beat....

im assuming you made up the blinds with J7 and you didnt call a raise..

fold pre.

Don't lead flop.

River is close because he probably does this with worse 7's
