Title: bubble burst qq
Post by: Ironside on June 06, 2011, 08:57:50 PM
bubbles just burst after stilli time bank for 6 players to bust
been at this table 5 hands

money is very shallow that you really need to make FT another 530 players for a good pay day
average stack about 18k

obviously i cant flat the cold 4b as this will alow seat one too shove on me with worse which i will have too fold too

so do i get out the way or is this a case of Q with a Q and get them in and if its cold i get a min cash?
as it turned out i got it in bad but got lucky

The fact that's it a $5 comp actually makes this kinda interesting imo. Given the 3b size, I would say in a $5 MTT, unless he's been a total maniac then he's unlikely to be 3b folding when he makes it that amount, but regardless of that we do have the Q and the Q obviously. Short stack makes not a huge amount of difference here, and I expect to see AQ, AK and prolly TT+ and perhaps even wider from 3ber, unless we also have information that the opener is a total nit, pretty sure I all in here.

I'm a bit confused here, why do you have to fold? If he has aces or kings he's calling your shove, if you call his shove you're in equally bad shape.
