Title: New Toy Post by: jjandellis on June 08, 2011, 12:46:35 AM Just edging back into playing online now and decided to download Holdem Manager (kinda wow already at this bit of kit n wish I'd used it earlier!).
Anyways, the upshot is that I wanted to use it and so looked back on some leaks. The hand in question came up against a player with a slightly smaller stack than my own. Although I was very active early on, I have been quiet for some time. I have an M of 19; this is mainly due to a couple of big pots in the last orbit where I killed 2 or 3 all in stacks with premium starting hands. I've also shown (told) a pair of Ladies that I laid down to the chip daddys shove. On the other hand 'Losfr' for most of the tourny has been fairly tight, but he has clearly moved up through the gears in recent orbits. He has shown a real liking to raising 3x in EP and MP; for the most part has gone unchallenged. Its got to the point where its highly noticeable. (sorry I dunno how to get HUM player stats up) So the hand played out like this: PokerStars Game #63075950466: Tournament #424010632, $8.00+$0.80 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level XI (125/250) - 2011/06/07 18:36:51 ET Table '424010632 128' 9-max Seat #5 is the button Seat 1: rrpires (24574 in chips) Seat 2: losfr (11571 in chips) Seat 3: GreedyMatt (7573 in chips) Seat 4: hunk187 (9852 in chips) Seat 5: jjandellis (12818 in chips) Seat 6: eugen1209 (9393 in chips) Seat 7: Raketten123 (7065 in chips) Seat 8: De_Sloef77 (7281 in chips) Seat 9: PTStar86 (12989 in chips) rrpires: posts the ante 30 losfr: posts the ante 30 GreedyMatt: posts the ante 30 hunk187: posts the ante 30 jjandellis: posts the ante 30 eugen1209: posts the ante 30 Raketten123: posts the ante 30 De_Sloef77: posts the ante 30 PTStar86: posts the ante 30 eugen1209: posts small blind 125 Raketten123: posts big blind 250 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to jjandellis [Ac Qh] De_Sloef77: folds PTStar86: folds rrpires: folds losfr: raises 500 to 750 GreedyMatt: folds hunk187: folds jjandellis: raises 850 to 1600 eugen1209: folds Raketten123: folds losfr: calls 850 *** FLOP *** [Qc 2s 3d] losfr: checks jjandellis: bets 2150 losfr: raises 4350 to 6500 jjandellis: raises 4688 to 11188 and is all-in losfr: calls 3441 and is all-in Uncalled bet (1247) returned to jjandellis *** TURN *** [Qc 2s 3d] [9h] *** RIVER *** [Qc 2s 3d 9h] [6s] *** SHOW DOWN *** losfr: shows [9d 9c] (three of a kind, Nines) jjandellis: shows [Ac Qh] (a pair of Queens) losfr collected 23727 from pot *** SUMMARY *** Total pot 23727 | Rake 0 Board [Qc 2s 3d 9h 6s] Seat 1: rrpires folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 2: losfr showed [9d 9c] and won (23727) with three of a kind, Nines Seat 3: GreedyMatt folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 4: hunk187 folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 5: jjandellis (button) showed [Ac Qh] and lost with a pair of Queens Seat 6: eugen1209 (small blind) folded before Flop Seat 7: Raketten123 (big blind) folded before Flop Seat 8: De_Sloef77 folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 9: PTStar86 folded before Flop (didn't bet) I really didn't think he hit trips on the flop and neither did I feel I was facing an overpair; I was very surprised to see him turn the 99. Don't hold back! posting this thread mate +1 Also, allowing a 9 to come on the board Title: Re: New Toy Post by: SuuPRlim on June 08, 2011, 04:14:33 AM options are....
1) fold pre, 2) chk the flop 3) cbet smaller and just flaty when he raises 4) fold when he raises the flop OR 5) open pre, bet the flop when you flop the effective nuts and get it in when he raises fading just two outs if this is the biggest leak you had then you really dont need HEM Title: Re: New Toy Post by: smashedagain on June 08, 2011, 09:08:59 AM In before 50p Have you spent up already?Title: Re: New Toy Post by: gatso on June 08, 2011, 09:16:01 AM play more imo. you can only have about 6 hands in your database if that's the worst 50p hand you can find

Also THIS... Where is the biggest mistake I made? Don't hold back! posting this thread mate surely a level? Wasting my life... I was 1min, not 50p. Title: Re: New Toy Post by: pleno1 on June 08, 2011, 02:05:41 PM played v.well. unlucky
Title: Re: New Toy Post by: muckthenuts on June 08, 2011, 04:14:25 PM 3b a touch bigger (or just flat which is superior imo) then yeah fine. 50p.
Title: Re: New Toy Post by: SuuPRlim on June 09, 2011, 02:36:26 AM Thanks Suupr..but this showed up as my biggest leak purely on chips lost. Since then I had more of a play with the various bits n bobs on HEM - although Leak Buster crashed when I tried to install the trail version, so I must have a big un somewhere!!! haha. well this hand inst a leak, so dont waste ur time busting it imo glgl |
