Hey All,

I'm Sn8Queen, a newbie on this forum and thought I would start off with wishing you all a very happy new year!

Nice to see you remember me Tikay from The Peoples Poker tourney.  Looking forward to watching it on TV in a couple of weeks.

Ahh, Sn8wQueen!

Let me tell you something about this very, very, beautiful young lady. I won't divulge her real name, not allowed, but if you watch "The Peoples Poker Challenge" on Channel 226 in a few weeks time, you will see her.

We recorded the programme in London in early December, & I am putting the commentary on the final edit next week.

It was a 2 part jobbie. Part One, 6 Internet Qualifiers assemble at a posh hotel in London - "The Zetter", near Gutshot. Thery had, in the main, never played "Live" Poker, so they had to be coached by, ahem, a superstar of the Poker World. But the superstar was not available, so they had to go for age instead.

Anyways, the point of the Programme - which, insofar as the idea was concerened - was remarkable, in that it DID prove just how different Live Poker is to those who have only played online. You cant act "out of turn" online, & don't have to handle chips, & online etiquette does not really exist, but it's a BIG part of Live Poker, so the "coaching" was really about how to handle yourself at a Live Game.

They all - 6 of them - did just great.

Part Two was recorded in a TV Studio the next day.

Sn8wQueen turned up looking absoutely ravishing. Trust me, she did!

And she got involved in a VERY dramatic hand, almost straight away.

I can't say more than that now, it will spoil the programme, but I do hope you will take a look at the Programme, and at Sn8wQueen - she really is a beautiful, & very nice, young lady.

She very kindly wrote to me afterwards & thanked me - what for, I don't know, I was just pleased & proud to be part of it - but we have kept in touch by e-mail since. Lovely. In fact, most of the contestants wrote to me afterwards, which was really touching.

I was not supposed to be involved in Part Two of the Programme, but thereby hangs a tale......

We plan to do more of these "Peoples Poker Challenges". Great, great, fun.

Welcome Sn8wQueen!

xx
