Who am I?

First of all, I expect this to be the best 2 weeks in my life (sorry if this sounds really sad) I'll be having a really good time, but will be having early nights/prepping for tournaments. I want this to be my big success, I've put more into the game than any "amateur" that I know and really want all the hard work to pay off :)

Hey, my name is Patrick Leonard and I am writing this proposal for some really really good value live tournaments. I play HU/6M cash online and at least twice a week in local cash games. I am up 141bi's in my last 35 sessions. Online I coach 6max and HU, I have had some really good impacts on others games and changed one guy in particular from a 1bb/100 winner intoa  solid 6bb/100 winner. In January I played 400nl rush and made $15,000 my best ever month.

I have recently taken on MTT coaching trying to improve my MTT game. I have had some good instant success including a $50 win on ipoker and 18th in FTOPS 6Max for $6k+. I also won some bowl tournaments.

I have really enjoyed playing live and I am the biggest winner in the local casino that I play in meaning I have a good grasp for live play, I have never bothered with live tournaments previously so have no hendon mob, because I thought the variance was too big to take in travel costs, but this is a really good schedule of soft tournaments.


What tournaments?

The Full Tilt series Espana event is in Malaga and I expect it to be one of the toughest tournaments of the year. The $1500 event at the WSOP is the day before the main event in Vegas and I expect it to be super super soft with great prize money. The UKIPT structure is really good and the 6max will suit me perfectly. Also the Venetian has an awesome structure which I am looking forward to.

how many ppl play in the espana tour?

They get around 200 runners.

You get 20,000 chips, and every level you can think of, the TD is really really good and listened to the players. It is 3 day event and many of the players are Spanish sataliters. Spanish players are without doubt the worst I have came across. I went to the "Estrella" tour (which is Pokerstars equivalent) and it was super super soft. The cash games are also ridic and I lost like a 500bb pot at 1knl with 23 v jj on 236 :(

One of the biggest value comps I know as not many pros/regs will come here so soon after Vegas and would prefer the Barcelona/Madrid legs. Also August is a fantastic time because the locals have fleesed the tourists for the last 3 months but still enough tourists around (Marbella is 10 mins away) to donate 1500.

Busted the $1500 today, gutted.

Started off really well getting some think value on 3 street 1010 on J7652.

Moved to a new table and had an interesting hand where I c/jammed river and guy folded top 2  (phew!)

Move to new table and I am crushing really hard, the internet kids are stop opening and I have full reign at table w/12k ish.

I open to 450 at 75/150 w/ 9c  9s, Chinese guy calls very quickly UTG+1 and then guy goes all in on BTN for 1025. I call, Chinese guy who covers me calls.

Flop was   9d 8d 4s, I lead for 750 and he jams, I ofc call and he has K10dd, turn is  2d. And I don't filll up. Pot was for over 23k with average at like 6ish.

Sucks :(

Theres a $550 venetian deepstack on Friday and dont think there are any $330's left before I go home.

Prizepool will be huge in Venetian, the $300 today had 1k runners.

hey, yeh was cancelled, but ftp representative at pokerstrategy as close as i could ever get there didnt know what was going on till like tuesday this week. still had holiday at work etc, just realised yesterday when i was at work and boss was like.. ur supposed to be on hol right?
