I thought she was pretty good tbh although the feminist stuff gets a bit boring for me but then I am a 35yo bloke.
The highlight of the entire thing for me, though, was Jessie J's performance especially with the little girl which I thought was magical but just throughout the whole thing Jessie J had this look on her face like she couldn't quite believe her luck at performing there. Some of the waiting on staff are quite alright actually lol That said I thought her performance was bonk. Glastonbury? Thought it was more like a Vegas show/cabaret... I was a touch skeptical about her being named but went to watch and the performance was phenomenal, one of the best glasto atmosphere's I've experienced, it's truly amazing when the crowd get into it like that same with jessie j, considering she had to abandon her entire stage act when she did her leg a couple of weeks ago she put on a fantastic show compare to u2 who've known for over a year that they'd be playing that spot but just turned up and played the same old set they play every night with a mangling of jerusalem thrown in. gtfo bono, it may as well have been a covers band up there for the first half hour. crowd never got into it at all. they needed to appreciate that they were headlining the main stage at the greatest festival in the world and adapt |
