Title: Vegassssss hands
Post by: pleno1 on July 05, 2011, 05:30:07 AM
Whilst they fresh in my mind..

Hand 1

I playing on a soft table but 2 Skandi's who I've chatted with abit. We are 500 deep.

I go to make it $15 utg but then realise its huge and make it $10 w/  Aspades  Qs. Folds to skandi in cut off who makes it $35, folds to me, I call.

Flop is

 Ahrt Ts 8h

I check, he cuts out $45 and I call.

Turn is

  Ks

I check, he bets $95, I call

River is  Tc

I jam for $325 into $350.

Hand 2:

First hand at 2/5. I raise UTG to $15  w/ 8h 8s 8s(stack of 1k)  UTG+1, +UTG+2 both call, no reads both have me covered. Kevin Williams (Black Belt pro who came 12th in UKIPT Manchester after 5b jamming KQ into JP Kelly) makes it $50. I call and limpers fold

Flop is   Ad Td 2h

Checked around

Turn is  6h

I bet $85, he calls pretty quickly.

River is  9c

I bet $135

Hand 3:

2/5, same table as hand 2. I have 2.5k, villain 1 has 1.2k, Villain 2 has $400.

Villain 1: Turkish guy who has splashed about but is sleeping betweenhands (literally)

Villain 2: WOman who is probs a reg, I folded AA toher on 1082 and showed, around 7 hands earlier.

Folds to me in c/o and I raise  to $15 w/ Td 4d, villain 1 calls on the btn and the villain 2 (bb) calls.

Flop is  5d 8h 9c

I bet $$25, both call

Turn is  7h

I bet $70

Both call

River is  Jh

I bet $105

Guy tanks for about 3 minutes asks her how much she has and makes it $280, woman shrug folds.

hand 1, i'm not sure what you're doing on the river? trying to get him to fold chops?
hand 2, nice bluff
hand 3, sigh fold. though read needs to be more descriptive. i've assumed that splashing around involves mostly calling

Hand 1 I c/f river. His river value range crushes, its a river that I don't think he'll barrel very often with bluffs and he's literally million to fold AK

Hand 2 you're not winning that pot when he checks back the flop. I'd expect him to look you up with JJ/QQ/KK/Ax every time

Hand 3 I just give up on the flop, pretty bad board to cbet anyway and playing live cash in vegas thats never getting through. As played I fold river

Hand 1 i agree with Dan c/f river, you perceived range by the river if the guy is good is pretty strong showdown (like AQ) I think it's unlikley this is a spot he'll bluff or try to get thin value, so we defo cannot c/c, jamming is slightly because we do fold out the bluffs we cant c/c against so our equity is slightly better protected, problem is 325 to win 350 we're needing ~90% success rate on the bluff and Id be surprised if we're getting it through 50% of the time, and he only needs to have the best hand 45% of the time to make a call and his range is pretty strong up to this point. Not a great spot to bluff imo.

Hand 2 I reckon again you're repping super super thin, basically on the turn I think your repping AK/AQ/AJ/TT/22/66, don't think he expects you to open worse than AJ UTG, not sure he expects you to peel AJ/22 or 66 to the 3bet that often and I reckon he thinks you'll 4bet AK a decent % of the time OOP, so really the main part of your pure value range is TT, I think kevin is prolly smart enough to realise this and is pot controlling and bluff catching as a result.

Hand 3 - again agree with Dan I reckon Id be chking the flop, I think you have enough equity to see a turn card with the backdoor flush draw and striaght draw + over card, plus I think you can still rep big hands by chking, and expect to win the pot on A/K turns and there are plenty of other good turn cards for us to bet, i would also fistpump chk this specific turn card back or fold to a bet.

Thanks for responses heros <3333333333333 Do appreciate it I promise :)

Hand 1, he tanked for what seemed forever, he folded/flipped  Ahrt Kc

Hands 2, Kevin called pretty quickly

Hand 3, I folded.

Very suprised that he folded AK. If you're a 75 year old woman sipping perrier and lime and wearing a golf visor you can legit have a T there but you're not so I wouldn't expect that to get through very often at all.
