Title: Monte Carlo Sat bubble hand
Post by: dino1980 on July 19, 2011, 12:11:59 AM
We're on the pure bubble, hero is 15/16, villain is 16/16, big blind is, if he folds, 14/16

1st-15th: £1,090
16th: £0

Blinds 3000/4000/600 (yes reallly, software typo) going to 4k/8k/800 in <3mins

Stacks: Btn: Villain 9244
Hero: SB:9320 holding  Jc 4s
Big blind (before posting) 15844

Folds to villain on btn and he jams. My decision is do I fold and hope the BB calls it off or do I flat and hope the BB calls too and we check it down?

FWIW BB did seem the type to play pots, he could've just folded to a seat but during bubble period he had played at least two pots, this despite have the big stack of 120k to his left who could've just set everyone in everyhand had he wished to as all the other stacks were <40k.

BTN has been taking max time on every hand and has been blinding to a seat, his plan would've worked too but two hands ago the shortest stack of 8.8k shoved on his BB from the button and he passed.

Yeah I folded, housemate suggested the alternative line, wanted opinions. Thanks for replies.

Your house mate won't ever be playing the monte and if he does he will just be wasting his money ;) wp on getting a seat

Calling seems totally suicidal to me.
