10 Questions.

The reveal will take place on Tuesday 26 July @ 19:30. PM me your answers by midnight on Monday with RSQ as the subject.

The object is to get the lowest total score.

Your score for each question is the number of people who give the same correct answer. The answer most commonly given is called the sheep, with the corresponding sheep score.  If you score the only ACE (an ace being a correct answer which no-one else submits) in any round, you will receive MINUS 1 points for that round. So for newbies, you're trying to get unique, correct answers.  For Trip5, you're just trying to get correct answers to start with.

You are not allowed to do research such as using Google to come up with answers, and you are not allowed to ask others for help with your answers.  Remember, you are only cheating yourself (and your illustrious peers).

If you give an incorrect answer, you will receive the sheep score + 5 points

You MUST pass on one, and only one, question and you will receive a score of 0 for that question.

You can pass one question, but I'm sure you can answer both of these questions with a bit of thought.

Phrase = a number of words
Saying = a well-known phrase

With Q1 you should be able to give an answer, some of the 'dingbats' are fairly simple. Just "say what you see!"

I got roped into an event on Friday which consisted of wandering round London answering quiz questions. One of them was a sheet of Dingbats that was almost identical to Kin's list  ;D Thought the footy one was pretty simple; the Cri__en one was evil.

I like the footy one.  They're all pretty simple really, and I would have thought everyone can choose from at least a couple.

The same site sells magnifying glasses as well as power tools?  That's worrying.

How about, rearrange the numbers 1-10 in any order you like.

It's essentially "pick a number between 1 and x" where x is a large number. How many combinations are there? My combinatorics is a bit rusty so not sure the best way to work it out?

This is clearly a "not the winning, but the taking part that counts" situation. Lots of people did yours, including some people who knew they weren't going to win.
