I think that this is a really tricky situation to be in. I'm happy to admit that working out equity in these situations against more than one possible opponent is an area where my knowledge is very limited to put it mildly. I'm hoping that one or two of the more experienced players will be able to give some suggestions as to the best way to come up with answers in situations like the one you faced here. Can these situations be worked out reasonably accurately with pokerstove and a pen and paper, or, is this a job for Sitngowiz or similar? Anyway, FWIW, i came to the conclusion that your fold equity was very high here (90%), but your showdown equity was quite poor (22%). I came to the conclusion that, although shoving appears to be +Ev (about 7.2%), due to the fact that you were close to the bubble, with another shorter stack amongst you, my choice is FOLD. I would be interested to hear what the optimal jamming range is here, and also what should the small and / or big blind be calling with here. GG. ps-wondering whether the nationalities is a significant factor to take into account. In particular whether the big stack may call much lighter to take out the Brit. If this is the case, would it not be better to wait for a hand with better showdown value in order to, hopefully double up, although i appreciate that you can't wait too long?
