Title: It's hot!
Post by: outragous76 on August 03, 2011, 12:54:09 PM
Blimey it's hot today!

I have had to relocate my office (well laptop) to my basement (I work on my top floor beneath a roof)

What are you doing to avoid/combat the heat?

Have a snooze in my car with the AC on in the hospital car park, instead of sweating my rocks off chasing Docs around the hospital  :D

Just had to pop out and grab some contact lenses, great day to wear a fake jumper shirt combo thing with nothing underneath and black trousers.. dripping. I am just about to go to the water cooler and get myself a cold drink.

Apart from that i will remain sweating my bollocks off for the next 5 hrs. 30 degrees or so i'm told.

hey guys have you heard about the tree houses they just completed at centreparcs.... they cost £6k a week to rent...who the hell are they targeting these at. we hired a disabled chalet (as it was nearer the facilities and available for £800 and i thought that was pretty balla)

Haven't seen them Jase but don't think I'd be paying that for a stay in the UK for 5 days.

Got in at 9am from work. Haven't yet slept and have to go and play football at 7pm, then back to work at 12 tonight.

I am fucked.

i'm not sure who would. people with that sort of money dont wanna mix with the likes of us 3 and our kids lol.

i went camping to cadwell park for british superbikes 2006 and got flooded out (its where number one son was concieved and did toy with the idea of calling him cadwell). we never camped again but have hired those motor homes a few times and they make life easier....except at Silverstone were we got their after dark and immediatly reversed it into a ditch. Spent the night with the front wheels 2 foot off the ground till the farmer dragged us out the next day.

wife has found somthing called Glamping that looks like comfortable camping.
