My first ever staking request.
 
Event         GUKPT Luton Main Event 19th August 2011  £1,000 + 70

Stake         Looking to sell up to 50% with no mark up. (1% = £10.70, 10% = £107 etc).

Reason       Bankroll management.
 
I'm a recreational player, playing mainly in Luton £100 MTT's, with the occasional bigger event, where I have a decent record.
 
I've played 2 GUKPT main events and final tabled this event in 2009  (8th for £8,200)
 
I keep detailed records which show;
 
2009        + £15,100   (inc £8.2k GUKPT cash)

2010        + £19,700   (inc £10k in July for 2nd place in a Vic £300,
                                 and c £10k for back to back DTD £300 final tables in Sept/Oct)

2011        + £  2,100   (less volume and no major scores)

I final Tabled 2 Venetian Deepstacks in Jan / Feb this year, cashing in one and bubbling a $1k event in 10th.

I don't play much online (and am not a winner online), so no graphs / stats to report.
 
Reason for staking is simply bankroll management coupled with a desire to play my "home" event with a structure that suits my game. Staking is not essential and I'll most likely play anyway, but with no mark-up, a decent record and luck on my side, I could represent a reasonable punt for anyone so inclined!

Nb...Does anyone have any strong opinions on playing at 12pm or 6pm in this tourney?

I'm thinking;

Advantage of 12pm is earlier finish = fresher for day 2
Advantage of 6pm = more locals / regs  vs more pros at 12pm

Good news - 214 starters and 81 through to day 2,  including me.

Bad news - currently sitting in 78th position, short stacked with 8k at 500/1,000

Good news - it could have been worse!  

I lost a good pot in the penultimate hand, leaving me just 1,800 for the last hand (400/800). I went all in blind UTG and got 3 callers. The board ran out 97632 and my neighbour said "low cards should be good for you as the callers may have high cards." It was checked all the way to the river. One player declared a 6. I turned my cards over and found a 4 and a 5 for a straight, and survival!

Enjoyable event with tough opposition. Starting table had Jeff Kimber, Dan Furnival (winner of the £500), Karl Mahrenholz and a good young German online player. When Jeff bust out we got Sunny Chatta and when Karl bust we got Priyan de Mel. To top it off, Toby Lewis moved 2 to my left later on.

Overall - pleased to be in still, but in urgent need of a double up.

Good news - won my first race

Bad news - it was the chip race for 25's. Now up to 8,100.

On the way up already :-)

Got an early double up and took the blinds a few times, moving from 8k to 27k at one point.

Drifted to 22k at 600/1200 and decided to reshove against a serial raiser with AQss. This time he had KK and I was out in 61st.

Thanks to everybody who supported me - I gave it my best shot.
