Title: Marching Post by: ManuelsMum on August 13, 2011, 05:16:54 PM It's the season where grown men dress up in silly costumes to 'celebrate' some silly tribal incidents that happened way before even their great grandparents were born, connected to a religion that most of them probably don't even practice. Just to prolong the silly tribal hatred. Does this kind of thing have a place in modern civilised society?

Title: Re: Marching Post by: maccol on August 14, 2011, 11:29:59 AM No, not in a modern civilised society but I think this is happening in Nornireland. Unfortunately Scotland has more than its fair share of these imbeciles as well.(On both sides of the religious divide.)Many summer Saturdays in Central Scotlands town centres are thrown into chaos by grown men dressing up,banging drums and pissing in the street. IMO all marchers from both sides should be put into Hampden Park to fight it out and the survivors shot as they leave. This would do a lot to improve the average intelligence level of Scotlands population. |
