Title: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: ariston on June 14, 2005, 04:57:06 PM Ok assuming you havent already won a seat on sunday night (I know you will all be on betfair again) why dont we have a blonde qualifier. We can play a 1 table sitngo costing $1200 each on betfair next week (day to be confirmed) . Now the winner gets the full betfair package- seat/flight/$2000 spending money and 9 nights at the rio so in effect they are giving away the hotel and flights (added value). I am suggesting the winner plays for 55% with the other 9 "losing"players recieving a 5% share. I am sure we can get 10 runners willing to have a go out of you lot. Before everyone starts ripping the 55% suggestion to bits remember the other 9 players are putting the best part of 700 in to send you to vegas so lets keep it simple, if you get heads up you can always discuss further deals if you wish. Thoughts and list of interest please.(anyone who doesnt already have a betfair account can email me and I will send you a link so you will class as one of "my" players- rakeback scheme etc...sorry for the spam Tikay)

Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: tikay on June 14, 2005, 05:09:41 PM Same here, "as long a I am available", yes. No caveats, no debating. We accept the suggestion or we don't.
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: ariston on June 14, 2005, 05:12:53 PM If for instance you end up heads up with me and we trads an additional 10% thats ok but lets keep it simple and try to get 10 players with the $$ to give it a shot. Thats 3 of us so far (although we will all be trying to win our seat on sunday obviously). You are going to play on sunday arent you tikay? It would be nice to get you on the market on betfair along with the 3 betfair players currently listed.
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: tikay on June 14, 2005, 05:14:30 PM No, I am "doubtful" for Sunday, as I am in Norway. Not a deffo non-runner, but doubtful. Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: Ruru on June 14, 2005, 05:19:40 PM just play off your laptop tikay, even if you're still playing live we all have faith in your ability to bluff at two tables simultaneously!
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: Ironside on June 14, 2005, 05:54:23 PM someone lend me $1200 and 10 (for passport) and 5 (for passport photos) and i am game

I play there anyway but as a standard-bearer..... ;) Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: tikay on June 14, 2005, 06:01:32 PM Hehe, trust Karabiner to come up with that one. Ariston has nicked it all, that's where it is.
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: ariston on June 14, 2005, 06:09:39 PM email me (my email is on here) and I can sort you out. I will not give details on here for fear of getting yellow carded. This goes for anyone else who wants it.
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: jbsc7769 on June 14, 2005, 06:34:16 PM Sounds pretty interesting........i am debating whether i want to spend that much but I think I could be tempted. Sunday wouldn't be best night for me either, my Mum is coming over to Greece for the first time (not seen her in a year) and she arrives on Sunday. I dont even want to think about her comments if I say "I will see you the day after because I am playing poker......".
Yes very interested. Damn I am getting itchy feet, I so want to go there, even If I dont play.....sheez Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: Junior Senior on June 14, 2005, 11:04:10 PM seems a bit steep ariston. could we get 20 interested and make it half the price but a 2 tabler but still keep the %'s the same? - just a suggestion but $1100 is still a fair amount of dough!
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: ariston on June 14, 2005, 11:12:15 PM sorry junior the stts are already set up its just nobodys spotted the value and nobody has played one . They are giving the seat, 2k spending money (that is the 12k they collect) then the flights and the rooms (this they are giving gratis).
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: Colchester Kev on June 14, 2005, 11:15:17 PM so is there anything to stop you filling the table with your mates, paying all the other players entry fee's, they let you win, you then cop the air fare and the room :) of course ariston couldnt do this cos he aint got 9 mates ;)
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: ariston on June 14, 2005, 11:16:54 PM I did this last week Kev and still managed to lose. ;D
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: Junior Senior on June 14, 2005, 11:17:00 PM so i suppose we could be all logging on and a stranger non-blondite could nick a place, win the lot and we all get done!!
i'll see, might be a bit more than i want to put up. - good diea though, i'm sure you'll get a full quorum. Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: ariston on June 14, 2005, 11:20:12 PM Nobody has ever registered for one of these. We will all register at an arranged time/day and we are golden.
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: Splash on June 15, 2005, 10:44:54 AM I may be up for this Ariston, schedule bit mental over next few weeks though.
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: ifm on June 15, 2005, 01:45:47 PM I thought you already had a seat Ariston?
Title: Re: World Series Qualifier- Blondepoker special Post by: ariston on June 15, 2005, 02:00:32 PM Complicated mate but lets just say I would rather be playing for myself (or a few mates) than play for a percentage if I can avoid it. I would much rather give a % of $12mill to a few blondites than back to a sponsor.
