Yeah definitely fold to the 4bet pre.  For the flop shove to be profitable I would want some fold equity on my side.  I suppose the key question is whether you can get JJ/QQ/KK to fold and I suppose you can as it is a fairly ugly board for them except KK with Kc but all that said i probably c/f and move on.  You still have 30bb and plenty of time but you obviously wouldn't have got yourself in this problem if you hadn't called the 4bet in the first place.  A decent general rule is to pretty much never call a 4bet.

Not knowing what is going on is a important part of the DTD online poker experience.

As for the hand, I'd probably just call out of the small blind.

You can't just call the 4-bet, you have to jam or fold. Probably fold.

Imo I defo 3 bet bigger here to 1150ish as the sizing of your 3bet means at best your bringing both players along and playing oop with QKo,  as played i fold to the 4bet and would do with my 3bet sizing in this spot as well.
You still have enough left to double through in a better spot and only be 2500 behind the average.

I just flat pre. Even short handed I don't want to be 3 betting oop for what is going to be a fair chunk of my stack.

If nuclei is who I think it is then you should just let her have all your chips because she's lovely.

Flop shove is fine. You're still in the rebuy period so worth a shot at a more playable stack.

Also not wanting to affect DTDs numbers but playing a winner takes all comp is a bad idea.

These comps are tremendous value thanks to the terrible players who seem to be in a rush to knock each other out.

Unless there's at least 2 seats you're not getting any help from anywhere and that's where the value is.

Whilst this is true he is a breakeven player in the games at best.  Makes most of his money from rb and rake races etc.  Bit like most SNG pros really.

Think flatting, folding and 3betting pre are all acceptable but I tend to avoid squeezing in spots like this in these DTD sats because you get peeled alot ( esp with small 3bet size) and I don't really want to be betting out blindly into one or two players with that stack size. So prob mix between flat and occasionally I might just fold pre.

As played fold to the 4bet but flop jam is probably mandatory once you get there.

meh - i got there on the turn against nuclei's   Ad 2d and held - as an aside what do you think of the 4bet against someone who hasn't previously 3bet?

Both of you butchered it imo but you got there so all's well that ends well.

I don't mind 3 betting but you should have a clear plan. 3 bet folding seems fine but for reasons mentioned by others I peel pre.

I kinda knew once I'd called that it was wrong - the flop saved me and shoving there was pretty obvious to me.

Mind you, if we're agreed that this hand was bad, you should have seen the hand that took us from 4 players to 2...

3betting in general is pretty terrible here, peeling a 4bet seems completely woeful just peel PF imo if we're 40big eff. fwiw I think 3b/f is actually a lot better than 3b/call
