Title: couple of boring questions about the broadway Post by: lazaroonie on January 05, 2006, 12:57:26 PM - Is smoking allowed in the Card Room ?
- Should it be ok for people to bring cameras to take pictures ? Title: Re: couple of boring questions about the broadway Post by: ifm on January 05, 2006, 12:59:59 PM No smoking and bring it, they can only stop you using it though i doubt it.
Just remember ID and dress code!! it would be horrible if people were turned away. Title: Re: couple of boring questions about the broadway Post by: Wardonkey on January 05, 2006, 01:06:11 PM What is the dress code?
Title: Re: couple of boring questions about the broadway Post by: ifm on January 05, 2006, 01:09:18 PM Jeans are allowed but not ripped jeans, no trainers or sports tops.
In fact no "sportswear", pretty much private golf club dress code. Just be sure to have some trousers, shoes and a collar at least in the car just in case. Title: Re: couple of boring questions about the broadway Post by: tikay on January 05, 2006, 04:05:29 PM Taking pctures. Two thing need addressing.
You need the permission, in a casino, from the subject. That'll be ok at the bash, I don't imagine ANY blondes would object. And permission from the Casino. They, usually, don't object, PROVIDING..... The subject gives his/her permission. You never - NEVER, EVER, EVER - include in the picture the "gaming tables". (Peeps playing at the Roulette or Blackjack tables). We learned these rules FAST with Poker 425. Take pics with your back to the gaming tables, facing the poker area. NEVER take a pic that includes the Gaming Tables, even in the background. To do so would..... Imperil the Casino's licence. Possibly result in your ejection from the Casino. Please bear this in mind at the wekend. The Gaming Commission, who make these rules, are all-powerful, & the Casinos MUST keep their noses clean. Wait until you see what some of us look like at 3am - there might be objections then... :) Title: Re: couple of boring questions about the broadway Post by: tikay on January 05, 2006, 04:42:32 PM We will exclude ALL Scots from the 'photos. Watching poker425 last night, I commented to the missus that the man on screen was partly responsible for my disappearing to Birmingham for the weekend. Anyway she says to thank "that old guy" for her, and next time could you make the Blonde Bash last a fortnight. There was one/two smoking permitted cash games away from the tournament under the high ceiling, but this may have been abolished now. As for cameras see Tikays post it says it all. |
