Title: $55 stars flop spot with KQ
Post by: muckthenuts on August 28, 2011, 07:54:19 PM
Villian seems on the TAG side of things but we haven't been at the same table for long, about 10 hands. I don't believe i've played a hand yet for whatever that will be worth.

As played there's like 5.9k effective into a pot of 4.5k. Is this a spot i should be flatting more pre, or should i be sizing my 3bets bigger to make a go and go more natural?

Don't 3 bet pre when in the SB when you have KQ.

Decide now whether you want to shove/bluff it all off or just give the pot up. I give it up here and curse at myself for 3 betting OOP with a hand like this.

Really awkward stacks sizes but I think go and go would be the standard play.

Definitely never flat this pre. 3bet > fold >>>>>>>>>> flat imo. I would 3bet here all day without a read that he's a massive nit

On the flop all you can do is bet/call. You fold out almost all of his pocket pairs and you're still getting the correct odds to call vs Ax

bet 1550 and call a jam not sure wat else to do.

folding pre might be slightly better imo but this seems like an abso fine spot to 3bet.

Guess I'm way too tight, didn't think the fold>>3 bet was this close againsta  tag

3betting the blockers and fold are both fine pre but i'd make it slightly bigger oop

now just bet/call it off and size cbet to induce action from worse. (it doesn't happen very often but >0% chance is better than 0% chance)
