Title: Straight in four way pot Post by: zerofive on September 02, 2011, 06:43:26 AM In my regular 50p/£1 live game at Gala with good regs and bad regs. Image is incorrectly fairly aggro. Effective stack vs villain is 200bb
Reads on villain: massive calling station, can bet virtually any one pair hand versus him for value but is capable of a few moves sometimes. Hand: 9h 8h mid position. Villain raises to £6 utg+1, I call, folds to the blinds who complete. Flop is Th 6s 2d checked round. Turn is Qh giving me a double gutshot flush draw. Checked to me again I bet £17. Everyone calls. River is Jc. Villain leads for £51. We ?? Title: Re: Straight in four way pot Post by: muckthenuts on September 02, 2011, 08:21:37 AM Call for sure

Title: Re: Straight in four way pot Post by: SuuPRlim on September 02, 2011, 11:21:53 AM he's got £127 back?
Jam imo it's not even close. ud be very very unlucky for him to have a better hand here. Title: Re: Straight in four way pot Post by: muckthenuts on September 02, 2011, 11:26:20 AM How come you guys want to raise? I think the only hands that are betting are AK and missed draws. Villian shouldn't show up with 2pair/sets here often at all i think.
Title: Re: Straight in four way pot Post by: Pinchop73 on September 02, 2011, 11:29:47 AM I just flat, too many AK combos in his range vs hands he bets 1/2pot that we beat.
Title: Re: Straight in four way pot Post by: cambridgealex on September 02, 2011, 11:39:50 AM I'd feel fairly nitty about it but I'd just call here. Vs a smaller bet size defo jam, but this bet is quite polarising IMO. Ppl at gala have AK a lot here. Never folding though.
He could have JJ if he likes to trap you young kids by c/r the flop. I don't think he has a missed draw hardly ever here. I mean, all the cards are gone right? He's raised 6x utg. what hh hand can he have that choses to bluff the river here? Only a7 a2-5hh which is like 5combos. And most gala fish dont 6x those hands ftg. They do a limp and then they do a call. Or 3/4x. Usually the former. Despite the description of an old man, villain in this hand is Jay Liu Title: Re: Straight in four way pot Post by: cambridgealex on September 02, 2011, 01:02:02 PM then shove

He led out on the river reping AK , K9 or you both have the same hand with 98. Its a no brainer call only for me
Title: Re: Straight in four way pot Post by: SuuPRlim on September 16, 2011, 07:07:52 PM people are all joke nits, or these games are shit, the games I play in Id be pretty dam tempted to jam QJ for value.
