Mo Rafique shoves 50,000 with 3-3 and Andrew Psaras calls with A-J

Ace on the turn, 3 on the river doubles Rafique up

This proves to be but a flesh would to Psaras as he takes AKo against Andrew Probyn's QQ, all in pre. Big pot. Upwards of 175,000

Ace the door card.

bobalike Psaras up to around 350,000 and second chip leader

I arrive to see Zippy Aslam bet 15,000 blind on blind on a board of

 7d Tc  2d 8s

Suzanne Gilbert in the big blind all in for 55,000 total

Aslam has a monster think and eventually calls for the majority of his stack

He calls with  6s 8c. A brave but absolutely superb call when Gilbert reveals  Ahrt 9h

She has an over and an up and down to hit, this duly arrives on the  6d river to double her up

the turn:

Kate Langshaw raises the button to 8,500

The response is the quickest all in you will ever see from Angry Bird in the big blind with 62,500

"They raise my blind, now you raise my blind. No, no more" comes the immediate comment

Kate raises a quizzical smile and looks at Angry Bird

Angry Bird now in full flow

"I limp, they raise, I raise they re-raise. Enough. I all in"

Langshaw is foolish enough to offer the following

"I know you don't want a call"

Angry Bird is almost out of her seat

"I WANT A CALL!" she insists

"You think I would go all in with nothing, its the third hand I have played today. You crazy"

Eventually Kate folds, reluctantly

Angry Brid nods with emphasis and thrusts her cards at the dealer.

As if vindicated, she now seems calmer

10 minutes or so of hand for hand

then unopened Pete Charra shoves the small blind into another shortstack Andrew Nicholson

Nicholson calls with A-10

Charra J-8

Ace on the flop and Big Charra bubbles in 28th

On the next table, a player who shall remain nameless, screeches "bubble burst, bubble burst" breaks into a braad smile and bounces on her chair, giggling like an excited schoolgirl at the sight of Justin Bieber.

Over on table chip daddies I have been watching an interesting dynamic taking place, where Pete Linton has been extremely quiet by his standards, ahrdly getting involved between the super aggressive Umar Khan, chip leader William Swinscoe and, the other side of the dealer from him, Andreas Kyprianou also with a top 5 stack now

these four players are probably the chip leaders of the 27 left, all sat in a row

small blind versus big blind

small blind William Swinscoe bets 20,000 into a 110,000 pot on the river of

 2c Qd 9c 4h Qs

Paul Romain has, I gather, called a raise pre, and flop, and turn

He reluctantly calls, getting 5.5-1

Swinscoe shows  9h 7s which is good

This leaves Romain short

Admiring noises from the table about extracting so much value, for the chip leader

First hand back is quite fun

Andreas Kyprianou raises to 24,000 UTG

Smart dressed Anon calls in the cut off

Swinscoe calls in the small blind

Paul Romain almost shoves in the big blind, thinks better of it

flop  8s 6d 3d

Swinscoe leads for 40,000

Kyprianou calls

Anon folds

turn  2c

Swinscoe 50,000

Kyprianou makes an extraordinary/good fold with  Qh Qs

Swinscoes shows  5d 4d

Kyprianou, a volatile Londoner, goes on tilt

"You have no idea man" to Swinscoe

"You should never been in the hand" to Anon

"You call my raise with that and hit the nut straight" back to Swinscoe

Swinscoe 750,000 and running well.

Greek Jack out 21st

Shoved 100,000 UTG with A-10o

Andreas Kyriacou finds A-K next to act and knocks him out on 5-Q-Q-8-J

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paul Romain doubles up, KQ in the bb vs Swinscoe's Q-J in the small blind

Only a flesh wound for William though, as Romain is now up to 120,000

Kate Langshaw 30,000 pre, called by Francis Jones in position

flop  Js 6c Td

Langshaw checks

Jones 35,000

Langshaw c-raises all in, just covered by Jones

Jones a long think, presumably puts Kate on the draw, and calls with  7h 7d

Langshaw though  Ahrt Ac

She holds and doubles to over 300,000

Approx 300,000 and very much in "the zone", concentrating/sensible head on

Andreas Kyriacou is from Leicester

Andreas Kyprianou is from North London, big bluff club territory with the likes of Irfan Hasan

All with 650-750k Kate Langshaw, Andrew Psaras, Andreas Kyprianou

William Swinscoe 550,000.

Not much to report on Swinsoce except he has limp-called away a portion of his stack

Current shortstacks are Ali Ahmed, who sometimes misses two orbits a time six handed away from  the table. odd with a 300k stack now at 10-20k and Andreas Kyriacou

bobalike wants this, kate is probably getting this and think paul wilson (nice company at the table)deserves this. 3 way chop works well for me. great effort again richard. lets hope for f/t carnage and an early finish. ;)

Kate Langshaw opens to 65,000 and Michael Darrell calls

flop  2c 3c 5s

Langshaw checks, Darrell 75,000, Langshaw looks him up and down, passes

Darrall shows  Qd Kd

-------------------------

Paul Wilson raises to 60,000 UTG

Andrew Psaras 180,000 on the button

Wilson passes

---------------------------

Kyprianou shoves the first unopened spot he sees

Paul Wilson calls in the big blind with AKo

Kyprianou 7-4o

4 first card out, King on the turn

Andreas Kyprianou out 9th winning £1,919

Next hand 200k pre with JJ

both uncalled

---------------------------

Michael Darrall raises pre and Andrew Psaras calls in the small blind

Psaras leads 175k on Q-Q-3 with 10-10

Darrall calls

turn A

Psaras check, Darrall all in 300k

Psaras has to pass

-------------------------

Langshaw opens, Kyriacou all in in the big blind

Langshaw has to pass, and is now one of the shorter stacks

brill updates as usual thanks tighty. Pity i couldnt go a little further but hey ho. Amazed to see michael darrel there tbh as he was doing some very strange things (pokerwise that is) yesterday. gems such as 3 bet folding with half his stack in the middle and limping in EP with 35os out of a 10bb stack (no plan other than checking till he hit wheel on river then min betting so that muggins here can pay him off with third pr) anyway gl to all finalists

Still here

Haven't seen a flop since I last reported

Andrew psaras, Paul Wilson and Michael Darrall the chipleaders with 700-900k each

Scott Phillips shoving at least once an orbit

Kyriacou active but over-bet raising means he will only get action if he is losing lol

blinds 15-30k for another 12 minutes, average 585k. No stack in mortal danger, so its attritional stuff

Kirit Patel 120,000 at 20-40k

Paul Wilson all in 700k

Patel passes 10-10 for his stack

two suggestions already mooted

one of the big stacks "anyone interested in a chip count chop?"

from the shortest stack "if we chop it now everyone would get third" (£10k)

Both given short shrift at this stage by a couple at the table

Board reads

 9c 2s 4s Kd 5d

only 100k in the pot blind on blind Darrall and Fuller

Darrall checks, Fuller bets 150k

Darrell check raises to 550k

Fuller is perplexed, enquires of Darrall "really?"

After contemplation moves all in

Darrall passes despite it being only a small amount extra to call

My sources tell me Mr Darrall is a regular at the Rose and Thistle pub game in Reading, and TCs Maidenhead/Maxims Reading the local poker club/casino games

Nickname is  "King of the Pixies"

Now that's added value reporting

Kyriacou checks his option

Kyriacou calls with  Ac 6d

Andrew Psaras misses

Andrew Psaras out 6th winning £4,317

Darrall 876,000
Wilson 586,000

Michael Darrell £14,000

Thanks for the support. Had a great couple of days of poker. Managed to grind my way back from 3k on day 1. So overall happy with the cash. Although just pissed off that starting the final table with over 1 mil I couldn't capitalise on the fold or push poker.

Well done Kate as she was easily the best opponent by far which made my 3 bet bluff blind on blind ever so sweet.

A final with 3 Andy's (I know, imaginative lot we are), all Cypriots and a lovely little lady too.

small blind versus big blind

small blind William Swinscoe bets 20,000 into a 110,000 pot on the river of

 2c Qd 9c 4h Qs

Paul Romain has, I gather, called a raise pre, and flop, and turn

He reluctantly calls, getting 5.5-1

Swinscoe shows  9h 7s which is good

This leaves Romain short

Admiring noises from the table about extracting so much value, for the chip leader

had 88....villain had taken similar betting line with bottom pair and AK when missed before - but nevertheless in hindsight... :-(

£82k still to play for Paul

Kate Langshaw has become a shoving machine, which on a quite passive table has paid dividends

3 times uncalled picking up 90k a time

fourth shove under the gun with AJ for 400k

Michael Darrall finds a hand to call

AJ, chop chop, audible groans from a few at the table!

just would be shocked that the big stacks would deal so flatly

for the record Paul I refused to deal even when short stacked

brill updates as usual thanks tighty.

^^^^^^
wish I'd have seen this yesterday, having never played against/seen Michael Darrel previously. He was a nightmare to play against, and that's not a compliment.
