In the long run I think you will need to pay at some point for a reliable stable connection, but its good to check if you can get what you want first with a free one.

When I am in the States I use www.uktelevision.tv I think it is and that is fairly good and very reliable. Costs like $8 a month I think...less if you get it every month.
