Going for value seems v thin so i'm down for checking river. Any read or stats on villian? Check/fold this vs most players though

i'm in the chk/call camp

think jamming is a little too thin here, expect it to go chk chk a ton tho imo

It is hugley unlikely he has TT+ pre after over-calling with a shoving stack, id weight his hand towards 89s 87s 67s A8s A3s 44 77, its very unlikely that he will peel two streets with a hand like AJ, if he has 89/87/44/77 he will almost certainly fold if we fire again, if we check he may want to turn his hand into a bluff for some reason. I think we can check, and as long as his sizing isnt really strange, call. Check fold is far too weak and I just cant buy it in this spot. The only other alternative is to bet like 12k/fold hoping he calls with an 8x hand that he would simply check back if we checked. The problem with this is that we kind of turn our hand face up and give him an opening to raise/jam the riv, depending on reads that he is capable or not, i may take either line in game time. When we jam, the vast majority of the time
we aren't getting called by anything we beat, not without any long history with the opponent. In short, c/c standard bets, bet-small/fold  would be the two lines i'd be looking at

Check/pray for showdown is clearly the optimal line here but i'm not convinced by check/call at all.

Why not a set or 5x? He likely wouldn't play them any differently.

If we check he may want to turn his hand into a bluff for some reason. I think we can check, and as long as his sizing isnt really strange, call. Check fold is far too weak and I just cant buy it in this spot.

What are examples of hands that you think would get to the river, bet the river, and that are worse than 99? 8x into a bluff is possible but most players won't be smart enough to do this, while good players will realise that this isn't a great bluffing spot in a $150 unless they have a read that George is terrible

Oh dear.

I did check/fold. I thought the river would go check/check so often that I wouldnt have to worry about him betting. He jammed. I tanked. I didn't see how he could be bluffing here as I am check calling so often but maybe I levelled myself IDK

Villian seemed decent if a little spewy. He went on to do a win.

I'd jam, no one ever believes on As and villain will be getting 3/1
