people will get fed up and not bother reading the threads

No i think youll find people will get fed up waiting for the topurney to happen, we should have opened all the polls at the same time, and that way they would all have been decided within this week.

ok we all decide we want to play 9pm on a saturday night on a crypto skin

but crypto tell us we can play any night other that saturday because it clashes with there biggie

but the polls have decided so lets just fcuk the poll and do what we want

or shall we find out where people want to play then find out what the sites can offer

then poll on the offers and work out the best

if you want a democratic event then it takes time

if you want a dictated event then it can be sorted in 5 minutes

It's pretty clear that either stars or crypto would be fine. if either can't do praticular times we might have to go to Ladbrokes where we can make that decision ourself, how ever structure is pretty set isn't it.

It doesn't do any harm to start trying to find out preferances.

whats the point of picking a site then picking the date if we are going to do it that way

surely we should of gone the otherway round


pokerstars we can play any time any amount any day i can sort it with an hours notice
crypto is different as we have different people on different skins and some willie hills players not wanting
to play betfair and vice versa so it would take a little time to sort

which is why in an earlier thread I suggested we go with stars for simplicity. Why don't we do that then?
$30 private stars tourney. the structures ok as it is on stars so we dont have to worry about customising it. just got to decide on best time which this poll will sort out.

I've always thought democracy was over-rated at this sort of level. We've never once fallen out on this forum and now we're trying to sort out a friendly private game every ones losing it.

there is going to be no clear day espically seeing we are pokerplayers from different clubs which means we all have days we go live which aint going to match up

so the best idea is to get different days each week to allow everyone a chance to play over time

again crypto and stars have roughly same amount of votes so i can set once a week an event on stars and the other week get a game on crypto (if they can do private games over teh whole network) otherwise its a case of looking at which event we should mass invade

I said before, I'd rather not do that because you get the 1808 gang feel going on. please Ironside, can we take you up on the offer to set up a stars game for next tuesday or thursday (up to you) for about $20 or $30 (up to you) starting 8pm - 9pm ish Up to you)?

why does it have to be that complicated, why cant we just say, "right Ruru this thursday set up a tourney for 100 people starting at 8pm!!" done

who cares about added bonuses or charities! a tourney is a tourney after all  :-*

nothing to do with P$C

other crypto users can play in it and the vote for cryptos was proberly 45% betfair 45% william hills and 10% the other 10+ skins

so it would need to get passed more than ruru to get set up

i used Ruru as an example, i ment you or Tikay, on any site!

Just name a date if people cant make it then fine, they can play the next one on a different site on a different day, rotate it

well i added rotate as an option but not many liked that option

i will problerly rotate it as the vote is close

i can set up stars in minutes

other sites have different skins and need asking so that there isnt clashes on different skins

and so the event can be networked and not just on 1 skin

I think the problem is were getting to many choices which is making it look a lot more dificult than it is, most people will do as we are told!!!!!

I like stars coz most if not all use it or have an account.
The crypto is nice but can we cant we cover all the sites with this tourney??? i think not.
I figure TK  Julian would like Whill coz there other interest.

i will attempt to get a blonde event over all the crypto skins (i use one other than betfair and willie hills) if i cant get a networked game i will have to rotate between the 2 major skins

i will rotate with stars as the vote between crypto and stars was 50/50

Ladbrokes got a hralthy vote if we're rotating.

I think it's just you and me fighting on behalf of Laddies.  8)

Still, I'm happy to give the crypto sites a crack and I can't wait to play this comp.
