Title: Final Table bubble Post by: Nico29 on October 06, 2011, 04:46:38 PM Prob a complete standard situation, just seems something i need to think about more, rather than instinctively snap/fold.
Pokerstars $10 rebuy with ten left. We are middle of the pack 5/10 with 22 big blinds, there about 3 stacks with about 10 big blinds, average is about 25 big blinds. 5 handed the button (28 bigs) makes it 2.2x- new to the table but a spew lag type from prev encounters, and the small blind (20 bigs) jams-lag pre when opening the action -haven't seen him 3b much tho and he's just doubled up. We are in the big blind. What do we do with the following? a) Ahrt Qh b) Aspades Qd c) Ac Jh d) Ad Td e) 7c 7d d) 8d 8h e) 9c 9d f) Th Ts Edit adding tricky g) g) Ahrt Jh Title: Re: Final Table bubble Post by: EvilPie on October 06, 2011, 04:53:21 PM Call Ahrt Qh, Aspades Qd and Th Ts.
9c 9d very close but probs sigh fold. Fold the others quite happily. Title: Re: Final Table bubble Post by: boldie on October 06, 2011, 05:07:20 PM Meh, probs fold the lot because I'm tez.
I'm assuming that the 3-bet shover has a half decent hand here. IF I was any better and not soo much of a chicken shit I'd probably do what Matt says. (Though I'm happy to fold the 99) Title: Re: Final Table bubble Post by: EvilPie on October 06, 2011, 05:08:45 PM Meh, probs fold the lot because I'm tez. 88 is close folding 77, AJ and ATs Title: Re: Final Table bubble Post by: Nico29 on October 06, 2011, 05:39:03 PM Rejamming AQs, AQ, TT, 99 88 is close folding 77, AJ and ATs This. You ever played stt's-think you could be quite good at them. :) Meant to put Ahrt Jh as an option-folding? Think i'd rather get 99 in here than AQ. Feel he jams lots of worse pairs but may fold raggy/even middle aces. Agree with rest bar i wanna get 88 in too...maybe. Title: Re: Final Table bubble Post by: action man on October 06, 2011, 05:57:38 PM hahaha, you can't put a thread on pha and then say "this" if you know the answer why are you asking for it?

Hahhahah-man, cheers for being nice. What i'm saying is 'this' is my opinion-but i dunno, i'm really not certain. And when it comes to playing shallow stacks i'd appreciate some advice that's all. Cheers for your constructive post rich. Hahhahah. Title: Re: Final Table bubble Post by: action man on October 06, 2011, 06:04:52 PM yeh ive been a short tempered fk recently, but to use "THIS", a purely objective term, seems strange in a post asking for advice on a really subjective range, depending on a multitude of variables.

Yeah i guess i cld see why. 'This' just meant it was exactly my personal view of the range we prob need to get in with/out of dodge with. Many posts say what they did and why, i didn't. I mainly wanted confirmation on the correct range, and if possible what range we'd assign the jammer in the situation. Maybe i'll edit and substitute 'this' for another tem to appease you mate. Liking your usage of objective and subjective and especially 'variables' it's like being back at university again, very well read. I'm being a twat now meh. Similar thoughts to 88? Title: Re: Final Table bubble Post by: MC on October 06, 2011, 06:23:58 PM You ever played stt's-think you could be quite good at them. :) I used to be! What you doing with Ahrt Jh here mate? Similar thoughts to 88? I think AJs is a fold generally and 88 is closer than AJs Title: Re: Final Table bubble Post by: AlexMartin on October 07, 2011, 05:18:04 PM Rejamming AQs, AQ, TT, 99 88 is close folding 77, AJ and ATs ding Title: Re: Final Table bubble Post by: Ginge24 on October 09, 2011, 01:15:00 AM Well what are u rejamming here with 20 bigs?
