I will be sending Monkeybot6 to the blonde bash on saturday allowing me to celebrate our fa cup third round victory at home. I have programmed him to be as lifelike as possible but after the mishap with Monkeybot5 i warn anyone there that if steam suddenly starts being emitted from anywhere to take him to a quiet room to allow meltdown to take place in a safe environment.

Im also not coming.  Id like to but a general shyness to turning up alone at these type of things and that I am not that experienced in poker puts me off :)

I am sure if you turn up and go straight for the cardroom, once you get your name tag on you would feel most welcome and relaxed. You should go!!

The cardroom supes and some of the dealers are blondites who will be able to introduce you to other fellow blondes.
Bluewolf and The Sweeney will assist you, and dont worry about the standard of play, have you not read some of the threads?

Really, I have no doubt that I would feel welcome but the poker experiene also puts me off.  A tenner is the biggest game Ive ever played and Id be a bit out of my league at the moment though.

It is something I would seriously consider next time though

I'm a non attendee too - unfortuneately a commitment with my lifelong group of school friends to one day do to the BDO Darts at Frimley...I'd rather be there with you lot!

Silo you should definately come down . Where would you be coming from ? We can get together earlier if you want , kind of break you in gently sort of thing .

It's really lovely that so many folks are trying to make silo feel at home. We have exchanged OPM's, & the fact is, "something has come up", & he just can't get here this weekennd. It's a real ahame, but there will be other blonde Bash's, & Silo will try & come along next time.

But how lovely that so many blondes do really care.

I aim to get to the casino when it opens, so come and find me, i dont play live poker much due to bankroll restraints. but we ARE a welcoming and friendly bunch ....  I will be wearing a blue william hill shirt and a Blonde cap.. or a pukka pies cap.  Plus I am going bald, 6ft, fat and wonkey eyed... you cant miss me :)  Please try and get there Silo, you will only regret it if you have to read all about it on here :D

But don't offer to buy Kev any food. At Southend on Wednesday, he had dinner, Supper, evening meal,  breakfast. He was only there 2 hours!

I'm not going either, it was my girlfriends b'day earlier in the week and i've now got to attend a meal at a greek restaurant with friends and family.  So i'm told,  we might be smashing a few plates as well......grrreat!  ::) I know where i would rather be  ;)

Can't make it this weekend - work commitments on Saturday before I had joined up - and busy on Sunday too - have a great time and I'll definitely try and make the next one.

I'm not coming either. It was at short notice so I can't change my shift at work, I finish at 4.30 and I'm in Canterbury so wouldn't make it on time. Wish I could though x

I have hot been able to go to this event as I am off to a Wedding, but I am sure that the reports will make all of us that cant be there feel the atmosphere, and then be really gutted we are missing it.

I couldn't come because i was playing the irish poker championships. Wish I had now as i ran a set into a bigger set quite early and never recovered :(

Saw a few other blondites over here - Jim Reid, Joe Grech and Kpnuts. Joe is out, not sure about Jim but KP is still in the running. 400 players for a €1000 event!

Sorry I cant make it either due to lack of babysitters but I will definatly be at the next one. Check out ebay for a bargain ...3 kids all house trained..come with accessories...starting at 99p and NO reserve.
