Title: sovietsongs super fun xfactor game - part deux - week two!! -its not too late... Post by: sovietsong on October 11, 2011, 07:50:10 PM Well we are gearing up for week two of the super fun x-factor eviction game and to clarify rules and ensure a clear (whilst remaining superfun) game is vital. We will do a new thread each week and have the leaderboard on show for everybody to see!
Below is the OP but below that is clarification deadlines etc. Its the super fun game that needs no introduction, its the best thing about blondepoker.com/forum, its the previously award nominated thread and its BACK! SOVIETSONGS SUPER FUN X-FACTOR EVICTION GAME PART DEUX, THIS TIME IT'S PERSONAL For those of you new to blonde I will give you a brief overview for old hats and hero's of this thread last year you will know the score. Each week you name 2 people from x-factor that you predict will leave the show, some weeks we mix things up but for the most part this is the game. If your selection is in the bottom 2-3 or whatever you get a point if they go you get some more points. We change the rules as and when to keep everything super fun but one change this year is games masters (sovietsong) decision is no longer final... WE'VE GOT JUDGES THIS YEAR! The judges are responsible for disputes as well as giving out bonus points when the games master (sovietsong) puts forward nominees... we've got three judges so will always have an outcome, its like I planned it! One rule that remains is you need to give a reason why you have made your selection and you need to highlight your pick. Highlight it as you wish but simple "bold" is not enough. Fail to do this and you will be up infront of the judges. Last year I offered a $20 prize, this year I've decided to up the ante... for the winner this year a SKY UMBRELLA* is up for grabs, thats right... an umbrella, bear in mind the weather we are having this could be the ideal christmas gift for a loved one or you can have it all for yourself!! No fee to enter!! NO FEE AND A GREAT PRIZE. Judges will be announced shortly but have been selected and I will be honest we've got some of the best around. They each have an opinion and won't be scared to share it! GAME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *umbrella was donated to me by chrisbruce a legend of blonde and is in tightends car (I hope)... winner will have to arrange collection. Picks must be made on the correct thread every week BEFORE the scheduled start of the results show Once picks have been posted on the thread they MAY NOT be changed, other than in exceptional circumstances (eg contestant withdraws from the show between the pick being made and the live show) WEEK 2 bonus! I don't wish to bring in-house disputes into the public domain, but are you over-ruling the select panel of hand-picked judges here? i may have set a new personal best for most-hyphens-used in a sentence there. Sami- A decent performance if she was being employed as a Whitney Houston tribute but not good enough when trying to showcase herself. Plus I prefer the Dolly Parton version. Just about enough to stay in Craig- By far his worst performance so far, mainly due to terrible song choice. Will stay in due to being amazing previously Janet- Captivating performance. Very Bjorky. Great as ever Frankie- Only seems to have one performance and he does it whatever the song but def not helped by Gaz Baz's song choice. He's supposed to be an edgy performer so why give him a song from the most boring band in history? Johnny- Great voice but as the judges say we need a song that'll let us hear it. Can't really see where he's going to get votes from Rhythmix- Thought they had a shaky start but a great finish sees them safe Marcus- Good voice but I don't really get him and another one where I can't see where he's going to get votes from and for this reason he's my second choice this week Misha B- Amazing, nailed it, will final this comp. Made that song here own The Risk- Boy bands not my thing but like Misha they are amazing, nailed it and will final.
