Went for Kilmarnock +.5/+1 - think they've been a bit unlucky away. Also on Inver/Mother <2.5.

Title: Re: Football - weekend then probably flowing into Champions League midweek Post by: mondatoo on October 29, 2011, 06:46:29 PM Time for Coyle to go. Savage mentioned the other day that there should be a manager window as well as a transfer window, thoughts ? Coyle's a proven good manager no ? Who could Bolton get that is better ? Did a good job at Burnley but left before keeping them up which was the hard part. Despite the reports the football hasn't really improved since Megson left. The stats show they're still the long ball team they always have been. Desperately unlucky with Holden's injury as he's a good player and also Lee but I don't think he's got the balance of the squad right. He's signed players who didn't really stand out in the Championship and looked like he replaced Cahill twice and never sold him. I don't see how they get more for him when he has 6months on his contract than at 12months (although Chelsea and Arsenal's defending may help). Elmander and Sturridge were always going to be a big loss for them. Don't think Tuncay and N'gog were the way to go. Especially with the fee for N'gog. Title: Re: Football - weekend then probably flowing into Champions League midweek Post by: sovietsong on October 31, 2011, 04:35:40 PM I've layed newcastle tonight @ 3.85. Think they've been very fortunate recently and against a Stoke team that are very good at home I can't see them taking all 3 points.

Mate is a fan and reckons he's gone. Tonight I've already backed Walters 1-0 and 2-0 scorecasts. Waiting to see if Tiote makes it before anything else. Hope the Toon can get at least a point though. As it is I left it too long and now it is about right I think. Title: Re: Football - weekend then probably flowing into Champions League midweek Post by: redarmi on November 01, 2011, 04:31:00 PM Do you think it is too short or too big?
Title: Re: Football - weekend then probably flowing into Champions League midweek Post by: ACE2M on November 01, 2011, 04:36:18 PM Do you think it is too short or too big? too big. I'm pricing it closer to 1/2 without the pertinent info i seem to be missing. Title: Re: Football - weekend then probably flowing into Champions League midweek Post by: claypole on November 01, 2011, 04:52:59 PM I think three discrepancies tonight, so chucked them in a treble, Bet365 best
Burnley Crystal Palace Milwall Title: Re: Football - weekend then probably flowing into Champions League midweek Post by: redarmi on November 01, 2011, 04:53:32 PM Not sure it has anything to do with any pertinent info but weren't marseille like 5/4 at home to Arsenal? Is so then 1/2 was a bit too short. I don't have much of a view tbh . At 4/5 I suppose I marginally prefer Arsenal and at 1/2 Marseille but not sure I would particularly want to bet either.

Yeah, they were around 13/10 5/4, but 8/13 would be about right for the return leg. I'm just thinking Arsenal in just a few weeks look a much better team with some good quality players back and others finding form, especially vermalen. Marseille have had 3 wins but they've been playing dross teams. I'm going to get stuck in anyway :) Title: Re: Football - weekend then probably flowing into Champions League midweek Post by: Josedinho on November 01, 2011, 06:39:09 PM I saw Portsmouth a few weeks ago at Leeds. Can't see there being too many worse than them in the league.
Title: Re: Football - weekend then probably flowing into Champions League midweek Post by: redarmi on November 01, 2011, 06:54:15 PM I would have expected Pompey to be pretty much a midtable side. Same as palace really.
