my 3 boys are twins of 3 years 6 months and one 4 years 6 moths and whilst they may seem a little young they are playing games on my i phone.
i basically want some advice on anything that helps me to choose which hand held device would be best. i seem to remember when the psp first came out that a few of the young chinese kids in the casino had these jail broke?? and could get the games cheep, is this still the case?

Is this a quiz like Milligans where we have to work out how they are twins1year apart?

i was more confused how you can have 3 boys being twins, surely thats triplets?

and what kind of casino lets in chinese children to play psp?

lol....fml saw 3 posts and thought the stress of choosing xmas presents was over....the twins are 3 and alister is a year older..... i was bumbling along in life at 37 no kids then bang 38 i have 3 kids  and 2 step kids. and those chinese casino kids are all over here doing degrees, drop out after 3 months without telling their parents and get em to keep shipping 3 grand a month for fees.  Billy Zhou got away with it till he was 27 when his mum and dad questioned why a degree course in business admin should take almost ten years.

DS for young kids. PSP for teens

yes shops have said this but thought as they are so young if i could get cheap games for the psp like you could with the old play stationsn then it would work out cheaper. have to buy 3 of everything. can get the psp 1000 cheapest of the lot but if i go dor nintendo i have to choose between ds or ds lite or 3d (although the shops said 3d is causing problems)

can get free games for the DS! google R4 card or acekard for the ds. Its a memory card and you just download games to it. piece of piss.  I have 1000s for ours. Think the new psps stopped the old battery pack hack, but there is probs a way around it.

For kids that age ipad owns :) cheap (or free games) + net and you tube = bingo.

For that age, DS is almost certainly a better option than PSP. Loads of games oriented at younger age kids. You don't necessarily need multiple copies of each game - on the DS if they play multi-player wireless, only one needs the games and the others connect to it and it downloads from the first. Quite nifty really.

And yes, you can get pirated copies of games, but speaking as someone who creates software for a living, you may as well be suggesting firebombing my office for the amount it tilts me.

Get em all a laptop and get them grinding did sattys.

When it comes to entertainment value per word, Jason is the absolute nuts.

Oh, and in terms of trying to answer the question, I think the PSP is nearing the end of it's life. The 3DS is pretty new, however it hasn't been a big success. I don't think the PSP was ever that big a success either.

Whether the machines are a success or not matters because if they are not a success, no one will bother writing games for them (for you to pirate).

I think you've already noticed the main problem with this category- it's pretty much been killed off by Android or iPhone games on phones or tablets.
