I really really really want to go but i've checked and its 185miles, I drive fast but that will still take me 3hrs+ and I can't leave work early. One option could be going into work but leaving a bit early pretending to feel ill (I can't take the whole day off because i'm on a warning lol!) Say I left at 3.30, I might be able to make it. Is there just one competition or will there be a few more set up later on? I'm so desperate to go, I'm feeling depressed and this would cheer me up.

And there will be lots of "names" there, we will introduce you to them all. But I do not like the sound of you "racing" up the M1 & M6. It is NOT worth breaking your neck for.
