Title: Too thin?
Post by: pleno1 on November 26, 2011, 01:28:16 PM
Villain is a huge fish who peels super wide, but isnt aggro post. Played around 30 hands and I've 3bet him about 8 times lol. Opening raiser is unknown.

If this was anything but a grtd 20 dollar or less online f/o I would def say:

without a read too thin, you are at the bottom of your range for value shoving also, feasable that its +ev marginally, but if it is I'm certain that its not as +ev as a decent player can get in this tournament with a 2k push/fold stack, so I think a call is better by quite a way.

BUT

I havent played in tournaments like these for a long time so this might be ok/standard. I know years ago this would have been pretty automatic...

Hope this helps :P

its just super hard for him to have better and if he has an ace may flick it in no?

I suppose :O - as has probably been said already his most likely hand is  Ax I guess.. but the times its not Ax he's not calling unless it beats you so I dont know vs unknown obv turn and river bets look weak but its possible its to get you to rep the A (maybe?:O).

I think a fold and a shove is super close either way I guess.
