Title: Snap Call or Fold??? Post by: Eso Kral on November 28, 2011, 11:39:16 AM Luton £75 monthly f/o £2400 up top payouts £200, £200? not sure why this is, £280, £440, £680, £1070, £1710, £2410
8 Players left Starting stacks me 550k Villains 1 has 287k and Villain 2 has 150k at the start of the hand Blinds 8000/16000/1000 2.2 million chips in play Everyone is really nitting up and I have chipped up solidly from 400k and feel i will definately have an edge over the field the further we go, villain 1 is the worst player on the FT and probs the field and I have been sat with him for most of the first day and is just flatting constantly and the flatting raises of any amount with EVERY bit of his range and I have not as yet seen him raise. Villain2 is solid ABC style player but just lost a big pot to Villain1 Villain 1 flats 16k and i make it 47k with Qc Qd to which Villain 2 shoves his 150k from the button, it folds to Villain 1 who reshoves 270k more so its 240k total to me. Are we snap calling or as we feel we can chip up in easier spots happy to fold and carry on our business elsewhere?? Title: Re: Snap Call or Fold??? Post by: rfgqqabc on November 28, 2011, 11:48:03 AM Not sure why it has to be snap... Have you ever seen the guy raise? Limp r/r is suspicious and it happened a few times on live tourny final tables that i've seen. Both limpers were middleaged white males that decided to puzzle the table by limping AA utg rotflmfao. I think this situation is a little different and can see you crushing vil 2 here. I guess i'd be taking a long hard look at both him and the other guy, and trying to get a live read. If this fails i'd end up calling because im a station and i have Qd Qh
Title: Re: Snap Call or Fold??? Post by: AlexMartin on November 28, 2011, 12:07:01 PM live if hes been super passive all day i can see you folding here. I mean not v anyone remotely competent but ur def not smashing his range to bits.
Title: Re: Snap Call or Fold??? Post by: Boba Fett on November 28, 2011, 12:28:23 PM You've been at his table for almost a full day, did he show up with QQ+/AK at showdown at all? If so, how did the hands play out roughly?
Im still snapping QQ, description of the villian sounds like he can be limping tons of Ax and almost any pair (and maybe slightly wider) and now deciding to get it in when villain 2 has shoved. From your description there is a good chance he hasnt ranged you properly or hasnt even tried to range you so I think you're crushing his range and cant possibly fold. Title: Re: Snap Call or Fold??? All of day 1 and from 2 tables out and he has shown up AA and KK AK in this spot and just flats flats flats, not sure he knows where the raise button is..Im still snapping QQ, description of the villian sounds like he can be limping tons of Ax and almost any pair (and maybe slightly wider) and now deciding to get it in when villain 2 has shoved. Title: Re: Snap Call or Fold??? Post by: EvilPie on November 28, 2011, 04:30:10 PM Hmmm.
Was just about to post 'lol at anyone folding here' and add a bit about your terrible raise size. That was when I noticed the limp....... It's f**king ugly but I think you have to fold. Title: Re: Snap Call or Fold??? Post by: Boba Fett on November 28, 2011, 05:15:27 PM Is this guy really limp/not getting it in with any pair here? I imagine since this has been posted the guy showed up with AA or KK but I dont think its an obvious AA/KK. If he calls villain 2s shove he is pot committed anyway so his range can still be wider than if villain 2 wasnt there and he limp/ships over the 47k, which I would still think you have to call.
Title: Re: Snap Call or Fold??? Post by: Keylek on November 30, 2011, 06:40:13 AM probs fold here, I'm not Pius Heinz
Title: Re: Snap Call or Fold??? Post by: Eso Kral on November 30, 2011, 11:10:36 AM Vinny said to post this on here and said more peeps calling than folding
So far its 5/3 in favour of folds I felt I had a bigger edge on the remaining players that folding was not tez but if the villain with 287k (habitual limp caller) wins the pot were back in the mix so folded which was imo the correct fold in the situation but the wrong one for this hand as they both had Tc Td + Th Ts.
