Someone has hacked my Skype and is trying to get people to send them money. Please don't respond as can maybe hack you too. Also please block and delete me. Do they just bruteforce/guess your password or do you have to accept files/viruses for it to happen? I'm a Skype newb and don't want to get hacked myself... Title: Re: SKYPE HACKED Post by: Girgy85 on November 29, 2011, 05:42:18 PM My skype got hacked in 09 and they changed the name on my account and.added a paypal account which is still active on my account and can only be stopped by the person with the paypal account. i emailed skype and changed my password and they now assure me its safe although id never put any bank deets on my account.

I'm a Skype newb and don't want to get hacked myself... either is possible. don't accept files from people you don't know, don't add people you don't know and have a strong password. If you've logged into the skype.com website, you should log out of that when you're not using it as well ofc. in pads case it's prolly a bit more complicated than that though, although I can't say why (and I could be wrong).
