Didn't see the game but it sounds like Clyde were deserved victors.

Congrats to all of them - scottm in particular.

Nothing will ever beat

Supercaleygoballisticcelticareatrocious  from a few years back.

I had to laugh at that, even though I was fuming.

Big congrats today to Burton too. At least Man Utd get the chance to repair the damage at Old Trafford.

I remeber it as go ballistic too.
Rod, fountain of all things trivial, told me this headline was originally used in the 1960's and adapted by the Sun a few years back.

So that headline was a cover version.

Best headline we could think of yesterday was "ON CLYDE NINE"

We all watched it in a Celtic pub in Brum & I gotta say we were lucky to get away with 2-1.

Well done Clyde, fantastic display.

Glad I was at the Blonde bash for this result as we took a bit of good natured stick but still ended up drinkin to 6am  ;letsparty;

BTW

I'm presuming Spurs lost as well  :D

You were adamant that they'd no chance of getting you to pay for it anyway, you'd hardly fit the description  :D A big well done to Skippyskip who had the taxi waiting outside 8)

I cant say a word really. Rod was such a gent when Liverpool were 3 - 1 down to Luton and I think he knew there'd be a shock vs Clyde. He even said to me at the poker table that he's glad he didn't say a word as "we have Clyde tomorrow". Psychic.

SHHHHH!!!! - that'll be me getting the blame now!!!

Only thing that made it a wee bit better was Leicester beating Kev's team - so I could dish out a wee bit of revenge.

hi guys, sorry just trying to catch up with all the threads.

watched the game with the other scots in brum, and i must say, i thought bratislava was bad, that display was undoubtably the worse ive ever seen lol

if this sounds like im taking credit away from Clyde then i apologies, Clyde played there hearts out...every last one of them.

When they had the first 2 goals chopped off, their heads could so easily have went down (on tilt...sorry) but they didnt they kept grinding and ran over the top of us!

Scott, who was the big number 10 with the shaved head, as stepoh and i both said, Celtic just couldnt hand this guy.

Credit where its due lads....Clyde deserve it all, go win the bad boy!

Dave

Would have loved to have been in the same bar as them.

Aye, it was an irish bar in as much as there were irish people in it, not a "fake" irish bar.

The fruit machine was a nice touch....piles and piles of pound coins. nice lunch though....

I don't think it's fair to say there was any dodgy atmosphere in there. It was a family pub ffs. Kiddies running around the place etc.

I was in The Hill in Birmingham Centre, Friday night. Stood there 2 mintues after one sip of my Corona I saw a guy get glassed THREE times! That was meant to be a student bar!

some one was telling me porkie pies then he was unsure he would get out with the winnings from the fruit machine

guess he owes me more than a breakfast and a pint or i might have to name names or i will expose him of being scared of some wee kiddies

To be fair, he was unsure if he'd get out of the pub with all the winnings.

Every time I went to the little Jock's room my fat rump would bump the table on the way out of my seat and the £1 coins would fall all over the floor.
